Congrats Heather. How long did it take from the time they sent your paperwork in before you received your approval?

Thanks! Paperwork was sent Friday June 5th, recieved on Tuesday, June 9th & was approved on Monday, June 22nd. So just shy of 2 weeks!

That is awesome. When I had my appointment with the Nutritionist June 24th she said they were going to send my paperwork in for approval. But she also stated It would be a couple of weeks before they had everything together since I was not at the top of the list of people waiting for their packets to be sent out. I figured I would give her 3 weeks and then I would start hounding her. I will start calling 07/15/09. I have been worried about it every since the Illinois budget has expired. I figured if they were going to cut spending IDPA would be the first place they started but after seeing your post I now have hope. Again, congratulations, I hope you are able to get that sooner date.

Yeah, the state may be broke but the healthcare will be one of the last to suffer cutbacks.
Actually, my date was moved from August 11th to July 15th! I'm on my pre-op liquid diet now (which is completely brutal btw!) my surgery is less than 48 hours from now!
