Prayers are going up for your niece and her little girl.  I know how devestating this news can be.  When my great niece was diagnosed in utero as a Down Syndrome baby it was unbelievable.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family.  

Just here.  This week I figured to maintain with Slim- Fast, granola bars and PB during the day and one meal in the evening.  That is working but I still was hoping I might cut some this week and lose a pound.  Plan is to cut the pb next week and the granola bars the week after.

 Good Morning Janet and Illinois!

It is good to be home!  I am all settled in.  The cats are almost back to normal and I have survived my first spill!  I had a glass of crystal lite and a container of water for the outdoor cat fall off the tray of my walker onto my white carpet.  I am working at getting all of that out.  Thank goodness for some sham wows.  

The home health agency will be here early this afternoon.  They will do an evaluation and physical therapy.  

I seem to be able to do most things so am glad of that.

Hello everyone!  This is my first post to the Illinois board.  I'm so glad to have found such a wonderful, positive group of people to chat with on my weight loss journey.    I'm in the midst of my 3 month preparation for RNY surgery, which will probably take place in September.  I'm sooooo excited to have finally made the decision to move forward with this plan.  I have a wonderful husband and 6 year old daughter that I want to be energetic and ALIVE for!

Well, today is my 40th Birthday, and it's going to be an amazing year.  I wanted to start it out by introducing myself to all of you.  I look forward to lots of great conversation and cheering each other on!

Good afternoon friends,

I had a great retirement party yesterday. Thanks to Dawn and her daughter for joining us. That was so thoughtful! I got lots of great cards and enough yarn gift certificates for at least two sweaters, maybe three! What a treat for me. I still have two days to work next week and then two months off totally. I'll work part time in the fall. What an adventure.
