Surgery is a Go!!!

Well, I just got back from the cardiologist and he is letting me have surgery tomorrow! In his opinion my RNY was a much riskier operation and did that with flying colors. He is not concerned at all. I am so relieved. The orthopedic doctor pulled strings and got me in today and all is great. The cardiologist was impressed that the diabeties is resolved. He thinks that in itself is amazing and takes care of a huge health problem!

Thank you Karen. I dont know about running in circles because I need the other knee done as well, but I cant wait to be out of pain in at least one knee and have it working!

Thank goodness he didn't agree with the surgeon. Putting this off would of played havac with you. Hugs to you.

Thanks Lisa. It was Dr. Meiers that got the appointment moved up and thought that it was ok to have the surgery. It was my internist that wanted me checked by the cardiologist. At least, all is well and it is a go! Thanks for the well wishes!

I'm so happy for you that the surgery is a go. You'll be in my thoughts and prayers.
