Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning all you sleepy heads. It is after 7 and no one has started Roll Call.
We had an interesting day yesterday. We had taken our good computer to the shop on Wed, last. They finally called with their diagnostic report.
They wanted $210 to back up the docs on it, then they would bring it back to to an earlier time. That would add more to the bill, and no guarantee . Plus, they thought it was the mother board. Anyhow, we ended up buying a new computer.
I was able to download most of the stuff on our documents and transfered them to the new one.These little data travelers are a great invention.
Nothing on my agenda for today, what about yours?

Good morning Lisa and Illinois, whenever you all are awake!
It is now 8 am and no one has replied yet....must be something in the air.
I've been trying not to have to purchase a new computer. I keep using this slow outdated one and somedays it surprises me that it is still working. I've backed up most of the things I want to save in case it crashes.
Not much on my agenda today. My DH went for another echo this morning. If things are good he'll graduate to seeing the cardiologist once a year. Woohoo!

I hear you about computer problems! I finally got my home computer up and running. It turned out to be the power supply, which seemed like the logical answer, but the guy that Todd took it to in the beginning said that the supply tested good, so it must be the motherboard. I ordered a new motherboard, and it did not work. One of my techs here tested the power supply and IT did NOT work. He opened it up, and you could SEE where it was burned up! I ordered a new supply and returned the motherboard. What a round-about way to get something fixed!
I am working today and have to make a run to the store for cupcake supplies at lunch. Liv is going to do a batch for the family that has been kind enough to let her hang out with them in the mornings and giving her a ride to theater camp this week.
I also need baking soda to put in the outside fridge that I cleaned out really well yesterday. At some point over the winter, this freezer door must have been left open and the meat that we had stored in there defrosted and bled all over. NASTY!
Tonight, Liv will do the cupcakes while I try to get packed for the weekend. Todd has a meeting in Freeport, so I have a bunch of chicken in the crock-pot. If it turns out, there will be a new R.O.D. tomorrow morning!
I need to pack tonight, because tomorrow night will be very busy. and Friday is THE day!

Hi Everyone,
Not much going on here today, just getting ready for mom and dad to get here later on today. I can't wait to see them it has almost a month since I seen them...I have missed them soooo much. Not use to not seeing my mom at least 2-3 times a week. I can't wait til we move to KY, only 4 more weeks...YEAH!!!! Also getting ready for my back surgery tomorrow. Need to go pick up afew things at the store that they didnt have at the one I went to last night.
As everyone else we are having computer issues as well. we really need a new one but the money is going toward the move. But it wont last much longer.
I hope all that are going this weekend you have a safe and totally fun filled time.

Well,I almost feel normal.
Slept almost twelve hours though.
I can look at the screen this morning without getting sick and have not taken the antivert med.
I doubt that I will make this weekend though.
I have to write a book for the psych eval. which is this Friday.

Christina, we did that before we took it to the computer store. The main problem was it wouldn't come up. I had tryed for over two hours and all I got was a white screen. It is working now, just won't let us on the internet. So, between our old old gateway, and the newer old one. we do have a backup.
