Sunday Roll Call
Where is everybody? No roll call yet? I've been up but lurking. I'm so tired and just can't get going. Right now I'm just sipping on some java. I am happy to say that the scale is moving in the right direction finally. I have not had a weight loss for sooo long. It goes to show that going back to the basics along w/ exercise is the key. Duhhh... I've known this I just have a hard time sticking to it. Whoever says this is easy is crazy. It's a darn battle I will have to deal with for the rest of my life.
We have a lot of yard work to do today. I work tonight. Not sure what else is going on. With a house full of girls, who knows what will actually take place today.
Ok my friends, enjoy this lovely day!

I'm surprised that at 8:30 am you are the only one posted on here. During the week if I don't get on here til 8:30 there's been 15 posts.
Everyone must be sleeping in this morning.
Not much on the agenda today except I need to run to Petsmart and get a bag of food for Bella. Today is going to be a lazy day....
Enjoy your day! It looks like it's going to be a nice one!
It is a lovely day. Not much on my plate for today. Maybe go to best buy and to kolhs. I need to get a shower gift,
We are having computer issues. This morning the mouse wouldn't work. It also has been freesing up and really slow. Yes, I defragged, yes we unplugged everything, anyway, to the repair shop we go.
Have a great day,
Stay safe,
Hugs,
Lisa
I was up early but no time to start roll call as I was getting ready for church. Went grocery shopping afterwards. I am trying to stock up on staples for when I have my surgery. My bill was $$$$ Ouch!
It is a beautiful day here. I am glad to have another gorgeous day to play.
Not much going on in my world. Trying to calm my sisters down about my knee surgery. Doctors office says I will be fine alone afterwards, but both say I need to go to a rehab center. Anyone with experience know? Our doctors here get you on your feet the day of surgery and they are one of the top 3 in Illinois so I think they know what they are talking about. But my sisters keep hearing horror stories so I dont know what to believe.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Nancy, Dr Farrell at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet did my knee replacements . One in 2005 then 3 months later I had the other one. I stayed at their rehab there in the hospital. It was a god sent. I got up the same day but it was difficult, I definitely needed help, plus you need help with the machine that raises your knee and the ice machine that we get, so much better then ice packs. You start your therapy there too. Two sessions a day, it was a busy groggy time. I'm with your sisters, everyone I know who had this surgery has had help. You can also give your blood for them to have in case you you need a transfusion.
I needed it for my second one. It's a difficult recovery for most people but so worth it. I was in so much pain for years before and a few months after it was so good not to hurt and be able to climb stairs. I had rehab for a week , then a home nurse came to check my blood and change the bandages for a short time , then a therapist came to my home for exercises a few weeks then I went to a therapy place for a month. They work for good extention, how good your leg bends, and give treatments to break down scar tissues. That was the schedule that 5 other people I know had also. I hope this isn't another horror story to you, I have never regretted having it and the insurance took care of it all. Good luck and may God bless you. Norma
I do hope everyone is enjoying the dry weather, it is supposed to rain here for the next 2 days.
Have a safe day!
