WLS caused IUD to cut uterus

If you are having surgery and you have an IUD (intauterine device), Do yourself a favor, have it removed before your surgery, because the skin surrounding my IUD in my uterus collapsed. The IUD was cutting me up inside my uterus 7 months after my surgery. I thought I would share that to spare another woman the pain.  I was asked before my surgery, and the doctor's knew I had an IUD. I wonder if this ever happened to anyone else. Luv u all..... Kathy

That sounds like a horrible thing to have happen to you!  I am sorry to hear of it.  I hope you are OK now?
I have never heard of anything like this happening because of the surgery-----but I guess anything can happen.
