Memorial Day Roll Call
Red, and Blue Day.
Hopefully not to blue though. I guess I will be in freaking out mode from now until I get a cardio go ahead. It does not help that it was a Memorial Day we buried my Dad. It has been so long ago I don't even remember the year but it is still there. He would have loved that he was buried on a holiday. He never missed work. He even somehow managed to have any illness and surgery happen when he was on vacation.
The catch 22s of cardio health being messed up by being obese and of wls surgery go ahead depending on cardio health are driving me insane. I am feeling like Humpty Dumpty.
Oh well. How are things in Y'all's worlds.

Hello everyone
Well Amanda is in Gatlinburg. The bad thing is her cell phone gets no signal so she can't call me. She called me and left me a message ( I missed her call ) from a pay phone. It is driving me crazy that I missed her call and can't call her back. It's been bothering me ever since. I keep telling myself that if this was the 80's the pay phone would have been the only way I could have talked to her. I think we take technology for granted.
Yesterday I cheated big time. I think it had a lot to do with not being able to talk to Amanda. I felt bad I missed her call. I had a bunch of potato chips. Chips go down easy for me and I can eat a lot with no problem. Well this is a new day and I will behave myself today.
Randy- I will be praying and hoping all goes well with your cardio test.

Calvin leaves for work in one hour then I have the entire day to myself. I have no major plans other then getting the house cleaned and organized for company this weekend. I'm looking forward to having all the girls here this upcoming weekend.
Randy - the waiting game can be such a roller coaster. Try not to let it get you crazy. It will all work out they it is supposed to. Big hugs to you my friend.
Crystal - I'm sorry about your daughter not having a signal. That has to be hard for you. You will have to set up a schedule of specific times/days that she calls so you don't miss her call. What about e-mail? Hang in there. Today is a new day, get back on track and don't be too hard on yourself.

Randy, I lost both my parents within a week of Thanksgiving. Just keep in mind all the great holidays you had with him.
Just remember, the cardio checkup is to keep you safe. The best decision I ever made was to have wls surgery. It made me have open heart surgery. It saved my life.
Have a great day Christina, My DH is home today, but he has already decided what he will be working on.
Chrystal, we also found out that cell phones don't work in that park, You would think they would, but the mountains stop the signal.
they are calling for rain today, not happy! I think I will clean out my pantry this morning. I try to do the extra stuff on days I don't clean house. Maybe grill a chicken later.
I only have 2 days left to work, then I am off until the 1st Monday of July.
I will be taking my java out to the swing this morning. I love early mornings.
If you are traveling today, drive safe. It is a holiday, don't become a number.

Randy I will pray that all goes well with the cardiologist. It is a long process but one that is worth it.
Being memorial day it is a day to remember the love ones who are no longer with us. Smile, laugh and cry as you remember the great times you shared. They live on in our memories and in our hearts.
We are going to Dans for a bbq today. Bella is going too. Hopefully her and Dunkin get along. Bella is bold so she will probably chase Dunkin around his yard.

Good Morning Everyone!
This is a special day to remember thoes who have given their lives for our country. I value my freedom and am very thankful to every veteran who has served our country. A heartfelt thanks for the sacrifice they have made.
Randy, try to stay calm. Easier said than done. I know I was worried about my carido clearance as well as I had a history of a heart virus and early congestive heart disease. But my cardio doctor gave the ok. I even have an abnormal ekg.
Today is cool outside. I still have my windows open and I am cold. You would thijnk I would close them, but am enjoying the fresh air.
I got my clothes figured out yesterday and the winter clothes put away. Discovered I dont have many tops for the summer. I guess that is a nice problem to have but leaves me scratching my head. Today I want to tackle some other areas of the house.

Happy Memorial Day!
Hubby leaves again tomorrow, I hate to see him go but he makes me feel comfortable to over eat with him and believe me I have. A cook out Sat at youngest daughters house, a cook out yesterday and my oldest daughters house, then today Hometown Buffet. I have gained 7 pounds.....YIKES!!!!! Double exercise this week... Going to get the bike out check the tires and start riding every evening! I can still wear my 8's but at this rate it won't be for long!!!
Well going to make a pot of Java and clean the house so I won't have that looming over me tomorrow!!!
Randy its better to know that your ticker is working right before surgery then to find out during... I had some problems during surgery that scared my surgeon so please do what you should. After all to be a healthy WLS patient the rest of the body needs to be healthy to start! Gook luck and glad to see it is going to happen for you real soon I am sure of it!
