Thursday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois!
It's been a long time since I've been the first one up! We already finished our morning walk and I'm ready to go!!! We finished our community outreach event yesterday and the company was very happy. They may even continue with future events. To top that off, my wife's boss is going to consider selling me his road bike at a great price. It is a better bike than I could currently afford (new) and he has set a very good price. Tomorrow, Liz will bring it home for me to try out. I'm excited! I've been doing a small amount of riding with my mountain bikes, but I would like to start doing more distance with a road bike. I have clinic tonight and then it's off to enjoy the long weekend! My goals for the weekend are to do the lawn, open the pool and then relax, relax, relax!!! I hope everybody has a great holiday.

Good Morning Paul,
You and Christina must think alike. It sounds like you have your plans all set for this 3 day weekend. The only thing I am doing is going up to Lake Geneva with my kids for Saturday. I just hope its nice and sunny and warm.
today will be housework and errands. Really nothing exciting.
Have a great day and stay safe.
Hugs,
LISA

Good morning Paul!
It is great to see you and hear how wonderful you are doing. I am hoping to get my bike aired up so I can ride too.
I am working today then home to meet the neighbor boy who is going to look at my home computer. We used it 3-4 times on Monday, then Tuesday, it would not turn on! The power light that usually blinks green when the machinge is "sleeping" is now blinking yellow and it will not turn on. I have to hold the button down for a full minute or so to get it to turn off, then when I push the power button again, it just keeps blinking yellow. I hope it is not junk as we are not in the position to get a new computer right now.......
We have two graduation parties to attend on Saturday, a graduation on Sunday and are working on what to plan for Monday. We are thinking of deep frying a turkey, or doing a shrimp boil......
Have a lovely day!

You might want to deep fry the shrimp and boil the turkey.... Okay, bad joke. But as to your computer, the blinking yellow lights are usually blinking in a coded sequence. If you call the manufactorer and tell them the sequence of the blinking lights, they may be able to tell you exactly what the problem is. Unfortunately, the power problem is almost always hardware and more often then not, it's a bad motherboard. However, it could be a small component that wouldn't be very expensive. An average tech would not be able to identify a single component without a lot of trial and error (all at a cost), but those blinking lights tell exactly what the bad part is (if the manufactorer has a code list). In a previous life, not so long ago, I use to know all about those darn fangled contraptions!
Maybe sometime in the future, we could get together for a combined family bike ride? My family is limited to about 10 miles at best, but I'm always up for more!

Hi Dawn, I'm no expert on computers but have tried the following several times and my computers have started. I just take the battery out for a short time, then put it back in and the computer works fine. My daughter's computer was just flashing and wouldn't start last week so she took her battery out , and she hasn't had anymore problems. I don't know why it works but it is easy to try. Thanks for the recipes. Good luck
