Tuesday Roll Call
Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I'll bet you thought those teenage girls did me in.....lol! ALMOST! Really, they were as good as four girls together for all that time can be, but the whole weekend tired me out. I took yesterday as a "mental health day" and stayed home. I slept late, did some housework, help Todd with getting the Boy Scout cans into Freeport, made dinner and vegged on the couch some more, even taking a "nap" before bed. I am VERY sorry that I missed the Rockford Support Group, but I just could not make myself get up and drive the car. I missed you all and hope I did not miss TOO much.
The water park was fun for them, but noisy for me. Sunday, I realized I could sit on the deck outside and read in the peace and quiet. That was much better, but I got a bit sun-burned, if you can believe it!
David's birthday dinner at JMK's was a great time. We had 18 people all together between two tables. I am having the left-overs today for lunch.
Today is Tuesday, so it is probably Taco Tuesday in Rock City. The bar has a taco bar that is $ 1.25 per taco or $ 6.00 for all you can eat over 5. Sometimes we go down there and sometimes I just make tacos at home. We will see how it works out tonight.
We have 2 graduation parties to attend on Saturday, but no other big plans for the Memorial Day weekend. I will hopefully get my yard done.
