What can I expect?
Revision on 04/19/13
You did get the packet of stuff at the seminar? And you did fill it out and send it back? And you did make copies of everything for yourself?
Other then that, he will talk to you at the consult. He will tell you what he will do for you, and what he expects.
Don't fret, you will be fine. When do you see our version of Dr McDreamy?

What you can be doing in addition to what Lisa said is to continue to educate yourself regarding your PO life. Dr Guske will go over your health and weight history history. He will answer any questions that you might have. He will go over the surgery and risks. To name a few.
Somethings that I would be doing at this time are:
1. start learning to eat slowly, chewing your food to mush
2. do not eat and drink at the same time - start practicing the 30/30 rule
3. start taking your supplements now to prepare your body to be the healthiest
4. with the okay of your PCP start a heart healthy exercise program - what you can physically handle - work your way up to at least 30-45 minutes of cardio a day, if you are on a beta blocker you will not be able to get your heart rate up, but do the best you can
this is about all that I can think of now.
