Good Morning Illinois,

What is everyone doing this morning? It is said to be clearing up, but to remain cool today.

I am going to Bloomington, Il to celebrate oue granddaughters birthday. She will be 11. I love spending time with her.

Yesterday I had a great time with Nancy G, Carla, and her friend Nancy from the Michigan board. We met for lunch and talk.

What are you big plans for this weekend?

Good morning Illinois and Lisa.

I could have slept in today, but did I?? NO!! I was up at 5:00 again. Watch, I will want to sleep in Monday, and can't...lol

I am painting my kitchen, and have to do some errands today. Tomorrow I have the bridal shower for my husband's cousin. That is about it. After not working for 10 years, my butt is dragging...lol

DH and I watched a funnel cloud last night above our house, but it didn't drop down, good thing...we was standing outside...duhhhhhhhhh

Dee, thats where the funnel clouds should stay, above the ground. I am hoping to paint my great room next month. I want to put color on the walls, instead of white, but not sure how to go with it.

I am at my sister's house using her 'puter. Mary has gone off to the auction house to work and Dave and I will meet up with her later at mid day. We are back here entertaining her 2 month old Golden Retriever, Jake. She also has a Sheltie named Scout that is as deaf as a board, but a lover. He got out in a bad storm 3 days ago and she thought the coyotes got him but he was found and turned over to the shelter. He can barely walk but made it 3 blocks from the house.

After we meet back up with Mary later on we are going up to Amish country to a bulk store that we could not go to last week due to it just closing. Later on we will go down to Lincoln City to where Lincoln spent part of his childhood.

Tomorrow is the big drive home and more than likely we will be met by a hay field with our grass. We are leaving fairly early so we can get some of it cut before it gets dark. Hopefully the weather will be with us and we can cut part of it.

Christine, Have a good drive home tomorrow. Hopefully Lake Bennett hasn't reappeared.I love going to the Amish stores. There are 2 in Cuba, Il., that my sister and I go to.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I thought I'd drop in for a quick minute before I finish getting ready for our overnight at the waterpark. Me and 4, 13 year old girls........wish me luck!

The boys are on their way to the Camporee and we are planning on leaving later this morning. Liv is very excited!

Good morning Lisa and Illinois!

I'm hoping the rain has stopped for good today. Vince's party is today and it is supposed to be outside at the park. Jackie's apartment is too small to hold twenty people and with all this rain she has a lake in front of her house. That means nowhere to park and getting soaked walking to or from your car. If she can get out she may need to change the party location...guess where?..........my house of course......

Happy Saturday Everyone!

My what busy plans everyone has for today! Lots of ambitions. Makes me feel lazy as my only plans are my weekly grocery shopping.

I too enjoyed our lunch yesterday with Lisa, CarlaK and her friend Nancy. We invited Nancy to join us on the Illinois board and she may take us up on it! Always nice to have new people around.

One month from today is my knee replacement surgery. I am starting to get things prepared. I had an MRI the other day. Am trying to gradually stock up on staples so I will have things on hand. I wont be able to drive for 6 weeks possibly. I got a netbook to use during my hospital stay and at home if I am in bed.

My stye friend is still with me. Pesky little devil. Hope it is gone and I can go to work Monday.
