Nine days post op

I just wanted to share that I had my first post op appointment yesterday and I was 20 1/2 pounds lighter!!  I know that most of it is water, but still it was amazing to behold.  Doc took the 52 staples out and said I'm healing well.   I still feel sore and my energy is about nothing - but I do feel like the process has started.  
    More importantly - my ulcers (the original co-morbitity) have been removed and they also found two precancerous spots they removed.   I can't imagine not having a burning gut anymore.

Accept the weight loss for what it is. 20 1/2 pounds is great. It will do nothing but continue down from here.

I am glad to hear that things went well and you are recovering nicely.
YOu will feel a bit better each day and soon these days of no energy will be a dim memory.
