House cleaning and grocery shopping is on todays agenda.
Vince's 3rd birthday party is tomorrow and on Sunday I'm hoping to visit another friend in the hospital and to see our latest addition to the family, little Natalie. The hospital is in Berwyn and the baby lives in Yorkville so we will have down time in the car.

On my agenda? Well it starts today with me going to the car dealer to test drive a replacement car. I won my battle on the lemon I have. It took taking Kia Motors to the BBB. I was given 2 offers and since the car still isn't running correctly I chose the replacement. They first offered me 3000. for my troubles I, I said thank you but no thank you. The guy said he did not inderstand why? I said DUH? The car is a piece of garbage. He said he believes all cars can be fixed. I said well 13 attempts has not done it. So he came back with the replacement. I won!!! It will just take about 4 more weeks to fully complete! I asked him how would he feel if he was up on Interstate 88, 55 05 even the toll road and was in the middle fast lane and his car came to a complete stop. My car goes into limp mode out of the blue and I have had a few semi drives think I was just an idiot driver on the rode. He said it would scare him, I the said add you kids, grandkids or your neices or nephews to the mix and then tell me 3000. would resolve the issue. Any way enough about that, I am just ahppy I finally stood up for myself and I won!!!!
Now the rain my basement is 2 feet under water, again! So after the rain stops tomorrow will be spent on pumping it out! I always hated drought but right now it sounds pretty good!

GOOOOOOD Friday Morning!!!!
At last it is here! Of course, I have been off work since Wednesday, but that still means another 3 days before I go back to work.
2 weeks of warm cloths on this darned stye and it still has not budged. It looks like maybe it is coming closer to a head. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
Today Lisa and CarlaK and I are having lunch together as Carla heads to Denver. It should be lots of fun! Cant wait!
I had an interesting experience last night. I decided to get a netbook to use while in the hospital and laid up with my knee. Went to the checkout and my credit card was declined. I looked at my balance after I purchased it via paypal and found out that was not a problem. Hmm, scratching my head until I got a call this morning. The credit card refused it on purpose because I had never purchased at that site before and it triggered a fraud alert. So I am thankful that they do pay attention to my spending patterns! They are issuing me a new card as there is another charge on there that originated in Israel and no I have not been there. Evidently someone may have gotten my number. Glad they are on the ball.
