I am up, and getting ready to go into work.  More storms for us today.  Rain, Rain, go away!

I have a wedding shower Sunday, and that is it.  What is everyone else doing this weekend?

We are up and at 'em. We are going to the zoo here today before we head out to my sister's house in IN.

I won't have WIFI there so more than likely will not be back on the 'net until we get home on Sunday night.

 I'm up and on the move.  Liz did our walk in the rain and I completed my work on the computer already.  I worked at the massage clinic last night and it was a nice experience.  If anybody is interested in coming for a cheap massage at clinic, PM me and I'll give you the details.  Weight wise, I've stayed the same.  I'm hoping that the addition of morning walks and weekly bike rides will start the furnace burning again.  I'm only 12 pounds away from goal, but it's been there for 5 months!  We have a fairly packed weekend starting with a Cougers baseball game tonight.  Have a great weekend everybody!

Don't fret Paul....I plateaued for six months...don't give in or give up. I kept on eating the right foods, drank extra fluids and exercised but the weight did not come off. Suddenly it started to drop....yeah!!!! I always felt like I was doing something wrong, but I wasn't....it just takes time for the body to realize we are not starving it. Keep up the good work. You have done well. Have you had a fill yet?

Good morning Dee.  I am up and getting ready for the day,  no work for me today but have a in services at 9 taking dogs to vet after that then home to clean house, as I work the weekend, hope everyone has a good day.

It looks to be another soggy day. I don't really think the farmers want any more of this either. They can't get their spring planting done in wet fields.
A farmer friend told me that if they can't get the crop in by 5/10. they lose a bushel of crop per acer. By the end of May, they will lose 2 bushels.

I did go to see the heart dr. yesterday. He said that there wasn't any changes. Which make Lisa happy. He took me off some of my meds, which makes Lisa a really happy camper!

Today, i need to do some housework, then I am off to meet Nancy G and Carla K for lunch. Can't wait!!!

Tomorrow is my DGD birthday party/ BBQ. She will be 11. We got her new luggage (bright red), a couple of short outfits and a cute summer dress.I know she is getting a phone from her Mom and stepdad.

I think i will be staying home on Sunday.

Good Friday Morning friends!

It's raining again today, but at least yesterday was nice.  I brushed the dogs for 1/2 hour in the backyard and now it looks like it snowed back there.  LOL   The puppers are shedding SO bad right now, it's horrible. 
As for me today, I will be going back to bed here in a bit, I only got 3 hours of sleep last night because Tyler was up working on an English Essay and I am not the type to go to bed while my kids are still up.  English isn't his strong point and he's been working on this paper for about 2 weeks.  He's a procrastinator though and of course still waited for the last minute to  fini**** up.
I will be doing homework and just some basic cleaning and then taking the kids to the "other sides" this afternoon.
This weekend, we are going to Mike's brother's house tomorrow evening and then Sunday we're replaning some of the yucca's in the backyard and meeting the ex and his family (with the boys) for Jacob's birthday dinner.  Jacob will be turning 13 on Sunday!  Both of my bio kids are teenagers!  yikes lol
Other than that, nothing for me...

Oh is anyone going to the support group tomorrow??

Good morning Dee and the rest of Illinois!

David and I went to Madison all day yesterday and had a great time.  His report at the kidney clinic was mostly good and we don't have to return until next year.  He needs to adjust his diet a little bit---smaller portions of meat and more fruits and veggies.  Sound familiar?  Todd also needs to lose at least an inch in a couple of spots before July when they go to Colorado, so the whole family needs to eat better.  I will be stocking up on veggies and fruits soon.

Today is David's 16th birthday, so like Monica, my (little) kids are now in their teens!  Joy, joy!
Todd has a softball game tonight, so it will just be me and them for dinner.  David's girlfriend may come over if it rains enough to cancel her track meet.

Tomorrow is the big overnight at the water park then David's birthday dinner on Sunday.  Wish me luck------alone with 4, 13 year old girls for over 24 hours.......
