Monday Roll Call
Good morning all. We are moving onto the Cincinnati area today. First to Jungle Jim's, then I need to find a Target or Famous Footwear as I forgot my dress shoes and then we are going to the Creation Museum just over the border in KY then after that we will go to Louisville.
So that is our day in a nutshell. We have some windshield time coming up for us. as it will take at least 3 hours to Cincie and then about the same to Louisville.
Need to get ready and the car packed with the remaining things in the room.

My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Christine, it sounds like you have a FULL day! I cant even imagine how much time it will take at Jungle Jim's alone. I have heard of that place and would love to see it. Hope the weather is nice for the windshield tour!
Dee, good luck on your first day of classes. Crystal and Dee, my thoughts were with you yesterday as you went through a very difficult day. It does get easier but is always sad.
Today it is back to the same old, same old. Hope people have had a good weekend and will be nice today.
I am fighting a stye in my eye that I have had a week that will not go away. Will call the doctor today to see if they can give me anything. It really affects my vision on the computer.

Today I'll be working on the inside and some in the yard. I don't have to wor****il 5:30 so I pretty much have a full day off. I need to take advantage of my time and get a bunch of things completed. Other then that, same ole, same ole.

Yesterday, I planted the rest of the flowers I have. Now today I need to stop and pick up a few more. Then, I will be done planting for the season. I also finished a new loom for rugs. This one will make tied knot rug. It looks like shag when it is done.
Today, its back to work. I don't have to leave the house until 8. I love Mondays, for that reason alone.

I had a great weekend. The party on Friday night went well and the neighbor was surprised and happy. Saturday was a day of making rhubarb cakes for everyone (4 cakes total) and spending time with the family. Yesterday, we came into Rockford so the kids could work at the museum then we spent the day with Amber and her family. That Riley is a hoot! We wound up staying over and cooking out for dinner.
Today, just work then home to try to catch up on the planting that needs to be done. I also have 3 rhubarb pies to put together and bake. I do not eat any of that (WAY too much sugar), but I am the kind of person that hates to see anything go to waste, so I make stuff for the neighborhood out of the rhubarb that is growing in my yard. I may try to make a small tart without sugar.....we will see.
That's it for me today! Glad to hear that most of you had a great weekend also.
I will be looking for more friends on Facebook the next time I get a chance to log in.......

I've got a new baby niece this morning!
Ava will be so excited that she finally has a girl cousin.
Natalie is the first grandchild for my sil & bil. They are so excited!
