Christine, You can do the whole Soc Security app on line and not have to deal with the office! Kay and I both just finished it and it took minutes instead of hours! The next day someone LOCAL called me to clarify one thing and in a week I had my letter and my medicare card!.

Tell Dave to use the computer!

Connie, Dave is only going to be 62 in August. Does the on line appl. for that age also apply? Today is the first day he is able to start the paperwork as he will be 62 on Aug 1st.

We got in fairly fast I think about 30 minutes. Dave actually did not want to begin just yet for the app as he had questions. We asked our questions and now we can make an informed decision as to when he wants to file.

Good Morning Christine and Everyone.

Christine, I agree with Connie. I filed for SS on line too. It was so, so much easier.

You have a lake in your backyard, and we have rental homes with sewers backing up. The city is suppose to be replacing the sewers on the whole street in August, so DH doesn't want to spend the money to replace any of the house leads until we see what the city replaces. Its a never ending battle.

I made a big pot of chili this morning. We have the SILs coming tomorrow to help DH with the porch on a rental house, and my DD and I are going to go to Yorkville to visit the other DD. So, the guys will have a good lunch. I also made some of  Eggfaces bites. Those I can freese and have for breakfasts next week. Now  I have to clean up the kitchen.

Nothing else is happening in my world. Just another day. Hopeing the sun stays out for a while and drys us up.

Stay safe,

Hugs
LISA

We got into see the rep in about 30 minutes. Dave had a lot of questions to ask that he could not find the answers to on line. The questions were asked and now we can make and informed decision as to when we want to file for him.

Why do people not do their jobs. I am going to Prospect Heights today to set up a lift chair and the truck driver left it in the folks garage.  Too lazy to wheel it into the house.

The scale says I have gained another three pounds since yesterday. I would think I was eating in my sleep but there is nothing missing or bad to eat here that could cause a nine pound gain in a week.  Maybe I should go back on beans, rice and tap water.

So you have been forgiven?

Hi all just checking in.
Not much going on.  Have been having real success with my diet modification and the gas issues.  Very low carbs, gas X and less solids, more yogurt, protien shakes, etc.

I am very sore today as I started a new step class on Monday, 3 days a week and I am very sore. I hope this works out as I had to take Tylenol before going this morning.  Who would have thought after a year of working out something new would make you hurt in places you didn't know could hurt.  The trainer is also helping me with abdominal exercises as this is a huge sore, soft spot for me.

I am going to do Relay for Life - Westmont at the end of this month as a way to give back for my new life.  Anyone who would is interested in making a donation to the American Cancer Society this is a great place to do it and I would get credit if you go to

http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=18287

team UPM Griffins and donate under Brenda Gigliello.  Any donation in support of this cause is appreciated.

Other than that I expect to quilt all weekend, etc.
