Wednesday Roll Call

 Happy Hump Day!

Christine must be busy, so I thought I would start roll call for her. 

It is susposed to be a little warmer and sunny today so a nicer day all around.  I hope everything is going well in your corner of the world and that you are all drying out nicely. 

I got my estimate on my driveway yesterday and it is very doable so we will be starting it in the next month!  Yippee Skippy, I finally found someone who is not out to scalp a person.    He is very hightly recommended but retired so doesn't need to charge as much.  

No special plans for today.  Hope everyone has a great day!  

Hello everyone

I'm tired again...what's new.  I can't seem to fall alsleep at a decent time.  I was wide awake at 10:30 last night.  I couldn't fall alsleep for another hour or 2.  Seeing that I wake up at 4:30 I'm not getting enough sleep.  So every morning I'm just dragging.  Anyway, my boss is back today so no relaxing today.  It's so peaceful at work at this time of day.  It also makes me want to curl up and sleep.

I hear the swine flu spread to the Notre Dame campus.  I hope it doesn't spread to my daughter's school.  I worry too much, I know.  I just don't want her getting sick.  Plenty of young people around my daughter's age died from this illness in Mexico.

I hear you on the lack of sleep.  I just dont go to bed early enough!  It is my own darn fault.  I get hooked up on facebook and before I know it another hour or two has passed and it is 11 or 12 pm !  I get up at 5 am.  

I have to learn how to go to bed earlier!  This flu thing is scary.  I think we all have reason to be cautious.  

I love that I get to pick a new pretty color every day to write in.

DW is home again today after her surgery Monday.  The surgery went well but she is still tired from the experiance and has a little pain.  Throws my day off as well though.

I wish your DW a speedy recovery and hope your routine returns to normal soon.  It really is hard when things are out of whack.  

Good morning Nancy and the rest of  IL, Well yesterday I got in about 4 hrs of tapes watched for work and today I have to take the Med Class  so 7 hrs of sitting  , and back to real work tomorrow,, Other then that not much going on here, Hope everyone has a great day,

Good Morning, Its another work day for me, but its my Friday, since I went to 3 days.  I love having the extra time off.

My plans today are predictable. Work then home. We are probably going for supper with friends tonight,

Sometimes I am beginning to think I would really enjoy part time work.  Just wish I could afford that luxury.  Have a nice Friday and a great long weekend!  

Good morning Nancy and the rest of Illinois!

Congratulations on finding a contractor that you can work with!  We have settled on a roofer, and he says that they should be able to start in about 6 weeks (depending on the weather.....)  I am nervous, but what can we do?

I am working today, then home.  Not too much excitment from my end.

I must have sent our sunny weather over to the Chicago area as it is cloudy and dreary here again today.  I am hoping the rain will let up enough for me to get out in the flower beds, but so far, no luck.  When it is not raining, I have other commitments!

We had "A Day in Rock City" meeting last night and that seems to be moving along nicely.  It is July 25 this year and is the town's 150th anniversary so it will be a bigger event than usual.  The best news is that after this year, I will no longer be on the committee!  Yeah!  I will get to enjoy the day like everyone else next year.  I am looking forward to that.
