Monday Roll Call
Good morning Illinois. I am up and at 'em to tackle the work week. We had ducks swimming in our back yard yesterday. 
We think that we know where the problem stems from, a new house 6 doors south with improper yard grade. Saga to continue and I will keep you posted.
Yesterday we went to a little Oriental restaurant in downtown Bartlett that has Japanese and Chinese food. Great sashimi. We shared the sashimi and brought our meal home as left overs. We sure took full advantage of our weekend pass from Metra.
Well, I am off to do this in a short while.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Hello everyone
I hate Mondays. I wanted to stay in bed this morning. But here I am at work.
Well I don't know if it's totaly too soon to tell for sure. But my fill didn't do much for me. Oh well I have fill #2 scheduled on 6-5. I just have to learn to be patient. I wish I was lucky as my friend who didn't need a fill for awhile because she had restriction with just the band alone (no fill). I know that doesn't happen often.
Well I hope everyone has a nice day.

It promises to be a nice raining Monday. Rain, rain go away, come again some other day.
Christine, I cannot imagine fighting a lake in my back yard continuously. That is not good for the grass or plants. I am surprised you can grow anything. I do hope you get to the bottom of this.
My week is back to my regular schedule and then next week I have a later schedule again. People must be taking time off. I hate not having a consistent schedule as it just messes the body up. The computer schedules breaks and lunches and your body gets set for certain times and when your schedule changes like this it throws everything out of whack. My bladder and tummy gets confused.
I am in the process of getting an estimate to concrete my driveway. Hopefully I will not chicken out this time and go ahead and do it. It has always been so expensive but the gravel and weeds are getting to me. I wonder how I am going to keep my feral cats off the concrete so I don't have paw prints decorating the driveway????
Christine, I have a question. What smiley program do you use? I am getting bored with mine.

Nancy, we have always had a little bit of water in our yard due to a swale back there but are too cheap to bring in dirt etc. But it usually drys out after a day or two. The neighbors are all getting frustrated. We never had water back there to this degree and always have had a really nice green yard and can plant flowers and my container veggies in the back second lot which is not affected by the water but to get to it you now have to slosh through water.
My smiley program is the free version of what you use. Funny, I am getting bored with what I have and was going to buy what you have.

Good Morning IL friends!
It's Monday again! A soggy monday at that. Chris I sure hope you can get that drainage problem fixed soon. We have puddles in our backyard too and of course the dogs always seem to find the muddiest ones when they go out! lol It's okay, they stand and let us clean their feet when they come in.
Today I am taking Jacob to the Dr. I think he's depressed and we want to talk to the Dr about his cholesterol, which is high and his weight, which we can seem to get a handle on. We watch what he eats and we work out together but he keeps gaining. He's gonna be 13 in a few weeks and he's already 160 lbs. We all know how hard that can be on a kid too.
Anyway, that's it around here...

I am running late,but thank goodness, my Monday office is only 5 min. away.
Ya, it looks like it could rain from the west this morning. At least we had a great Sunday.
We don''t have any water problems in ur back yard, but both DDs do. It is frustrating when you know you didn't cause it.
I decided to beef up my cottage cheese this morning and add some raisens, cinimon and sugar (spenda), a few walnuts and about 4 banana chips to it. It gives some texture and crunch to it.

Good Morning everyone! I'm just recovering from a busy weekend. Friday, Meredith had a high fever and was throwing up so we went to the hospital in the evening. After 5 hours in the emergency room, they said it was just a virus and sent us home. It was a little trimatic in that she was given an IV and that is hard at 2 years old. But she is a trooper and by Sunday, she was her normal self again! I bought a new backyard play set for the kids and hired a carpenter to build it. But he couldn't get here until 3pm on Saturday. I started it myself and ended up doing about 80% before he arrived. I probably didn't need him at all. But we worked together and it looks great. Unfortunately, we had to do some of it in the rain yesterday, but we finished in sunshine. I paid him the full amount, but he handed me back half the money! I love when I work with someone of integrity. The kids love it and Nic can't wait to get home from school to play. My back was in total pain, but today I'm feeling fine. We get ducks in our pool at this time of the year. Have a great day!

I am starting my "countdown to surgery" week - trying to get ahead on both work and home stuff. I've made my list and now to start working my way through it.
It looks like it could rain here in central Illinois - and the weather this morning is cool and breezy - very nice. I have a driver's ed son - so I let him drive to school, then ran a couple of errands and came home. Time to settle in to work. Hope everyone has a good day!
