Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

No wasn't , ya just beat me.

Good morning everyone. I am up and at 'em and getting this day rolling. Last night we got to sit outside for the first time this year at a restaurant in Bensenville and enjoy the weather. It was great even though there is a noisy Metra rail track right across the street from it.

Got my energy all stored up to tackle the day down at Navy Pier. Looking forward to hearing Dr R and Joey speak and to walk around the exhibition hall and gather new health information.

"Talk" at ya all later.

Wish I could come. Joey always makes me want to exercise more after he speaks!  I would be there if I could.

Good Morning to Everyone.

I was going to finish painting railings today, but I got a call last evening that my cousin wants to visit this morning. I haven't seen her in months, so  the railings will have to wait.I did finish one  porch yesterday, so all I have is one left.

Here's a tip I passed on to the main board yesterday. When you make Eggfaces protein ice cream this summer, instead of putting it in one container, portion it out in 1/2 c servings and put each serving in a 1/2 c
Gladware container and freeze. Instant dixie cups!

Everyone have a great and productive day. Get out and get some vit. D!

Hugs

Lisa

I am up but with no guarantees on my staying up.

I would love to go to Navy Pier today but walking that much is not on my list yet.  At least the weight loss is enough I can walk around the two buildings on the west end of Willow.  Maybe I should try to go to some Wednesday classes.  I could look up the locations ahead of time on the net.

So you have been forgiven?

Good Morning All -

I just came in from having a cup of coffee on the patio.  It's cool out and the weather seems questionable.  Feels like rain to me.  I have to work at the pizza shop then Outback today.  Nothing else going on.  Just another boring day.

I went out to plant a few things I picked up yesterday and its already raining her. 66 out though but a cool wind so since I am coming down with my first cold since I had surgery I am staying in, and enjoy some hot tea!

Hello everyone

I had my first fill yesterday and all went well.  The doctor said I'm doing well.  I lost 11 lbs!!!  I kind of knew what to expect but it was really painless.  I didn't even feel the needle (he didn't use any numbing stuff).  There was a little burning when the saline went in.  Now today I feel ok.  I had eggs for breakfast so I'm not sure if I have any restriction.  OH and I'm so mad at myself...I forgot to ask how many CCs I got.

Have a nice day and enjoy this wonderful weather while it lasts.

Crystal, you probaly only received 1 to 2 ccs. They fill you in stages. And also, there is probaly not to much restriction yet. It can take a number of fills for that. 11 lbs is great. Remember, we won't lose as much or as fast as RNY people do, but we do catch up, eventually.
