Good morning Christine and the rest of IL, I am up and ready for work, I leave in about 40 mins. Running a load of towels before work, I forgot what it is like to have to get things done when you can when you work, but I will get the hang of it again,
Not much going on for me this weekend, I have to work ,

Hello everyone

It Friday!!!  WOOHOO!!!!  and I leave early today @ 4:00 because I have my first fill today. 

So that's my day in a nutshell-  work, work, work, doctor, bowling, home!!!

Have a nice weekend.

Don't forget it will be liquids for the next 24 hrs after that fill!

What about before.  Do I need to fast before the fill???

My dr said I do not have too fast before. I do tend to eat lighter before though. I usually will try not to have any thing but liquids for 3 hrs before. I do not want my pouch full when I get a fill. I am afraid it will get stuck there longer.
Just make sure you follow docs orders after the fill though. I did not once and I thought I did damage to my pouch. I was able to go back in get the fill back out and then start it over again a few weeks later. I only did liquids for a few hrs and then went straight into solids. Bad Idea.
Follow instructions and all will be fine!

Not much going on in my neck of the woods! I am happy though the weekend has finally gotten here.
I am going to get some of my seeds planted this weekend out side. I just have a few things that need to get started or they will not have enough time to grow. I am planting watermelon and cantaloupe this year. I found I can not eat tomatoes so I am not planting any. The grandkids will enjoy the fruit more anyway. I am also putting in a herb bed. I have 2 raised beds and I think that would be a perfect place for it.  Well off to work then to exercise.

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today, but this is our quiet day (usually) with me leaving early and just 2 others here.

My boys are going to Galena for the big Scout homecoming and Liv has a Girl Scout event to work tomorrow.  Sunday, Amber, Liv and I are going to the playhouse to see the high school production, "Happily Ever Once Upon".  It should be fun.  We are going to make a day of it and have lunch together while grandpa watches the grand baby.

Maybe I can get some yard stuff done tomorrow......

My wife and I spent a few days up in Galena on our honeymoon and we just loved it. It was a big difference from growing up in Chicago. The weather is suppose to be decent this weekend so I hope your kids have a good time.

For once, the weather will cooperate on this camp out.  Some years, when they go it has been freezing temperatures with wind and rain.

I love Galena too!  We live about 45 minutes each of there.
