Friday Roll Call
Good Morning Christine and Illinois!
Yippee Skippee it is Friday!
I have been waiting for this day since Monday! It has been a long week. Lots of difficult people on the phone this week. Not nasty people but complicated issues. My handling time was horrible on Wednesday because of the complicated issues and we have to be under so much time for each customer on the average and I was way over it for the day. We just dont get a choice of what drops in our laps.
It is susposed to be a beautiful day today and tomorrow so I am ready! Will eat my lunch outside and enjoy this wonderful day. We have a patio at work and I discovered what a great escape place that was last year.
I had fun with hosting my 8th grader yesterday for the job shadowing day. They had lots going on in the building between the school kids and the take your kids to work. They had the kids write what their parents did at work and their descriptions were so funny.
I did no know that we worked in a box (cube) and played all day on the phone talking to friends. And then take lots of breaks (2) and eat lunch. Oh how kids see things.

Good Morning IL -
Not a whole lot going on here. I would like to get out and work in the yard. I need to pull the tiller out and get my garden started. I'm making it a bit larger this year. I was very pleased with the results last year.
I'm finally over my cold and feeling back to normal. Whatever normal is.

It's Friday, the sun is out and it appears it's going to be a beautiful day! yay! I do hate that it rained just enough to make the dogs have to go outside one at a time because of mud though! lol
Today, Austyn is home sick again. He's got a terrible sore throat and cough. If he's not better by Monday, it's off to the Dr for him. He doesn't have tonsils, but I know he can still get strep throat, so we're watching him. He doesn't really have a fever, but you can tell he doesn't feel good. Other than that, just homework, laundry and cleaning today. Later I have to take Tyler to a baseball game so he can umpire and then of course pick him up...lol
Have a wonderful, warm and safe day today!

Hi everybody,
I have spent a lot of time in the dentist chair the last few weeks and yesterday afternoon they finally popped in my two left molar crowns' (18,19). I haven't been able to chew on my left side for almost 3 months as I went through the various steps and I can't wait to chew again on that side. I have one more root canal today on my right side and then I need to start saving for a bridge. I am a good example of what happens when you avoid any type of dental work for 10 years. It eventually catches up to you. Other then that, I have my son with me today and I look forward to spending the day with him and enjoy the weather.

I've already got my windows open...it is soooo nice out there already. What a great way to start the weekend. I've got a baby shower Sunday then it's out of town for me. Can't wait to get to WV and see the grandsons. We will be helping to get the new house ready for move in.

Well I went for a 3 mile walk yesterday in the nature reserve and got burned to a crisp. I couldnt sleep to save my life last night. I finally fell asleep around 3am.
Today and for the weekend I am driving down to Ft Lauderdale to see my friend and my cousin.
Then all next week I am going to get ready for my trip up north.
My cat is sound asleep on my bed and the other one is prowling around in the house somewhere.
It is supposed to be around 85 today and hotter down by Ft Lauderdale.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I know what you mean about the square bowls being too big. A scoop of icecream looks lonely in one. I went to Ikea and got some plastic bowls for the grandkids and they hold just a wee bit more then I need in it. If I am in a hurry I can just guesstimate 1/2 cup in one. Sometimes I just don't have time to measure!
I bet they are pretty though I love the blacks and reds together.
I just got some square plate, bowls and cups but mine are cream colored with blue flowers. I just love the look and yes I use the desert plate to eat out of.
