Thursday Roll Call

Good morning IL peeps. We have a fine day in store for us.  Believe it or not not much going on in my world. I am just kind of laying low to conserve energy for Saturday down at the Diabetes Expo.

We have a newbie, Janna that just announced her surgery date of next Tuesday. Welcome to the board. And welcome to Yeokaybye also. And Dee is now gainfully employed as a crumb crusher driver, errr rug rat driver, I mean school bus driver. I knew I would get it right eventually.

What else is going on in your world?  I will be walking off down the street to do this   in a short while but first for me a cup of ole Joe  is in store.

Hello everyone

Well it's official my dad will be moving back up to Illinois.  After a lot of disscusion we all decided that he will put the house up for sale and move into an apartment in Oswego.  He will be moving 8-1-09 (he put a deposit down on the apartment).  I'm so glad. 

I have my first fill tomorrow.  I can't wait, I have no restriction.  I get really hungry between meals and I can eat more than I should. 

Well it will be a beautiful day out today.  I will be taking a walk later.  The pain in my shoulder is almost gone.

 Dee, congrats on your new job!  Way to go!    Hope you have nerves of steel.  What age group do you get to drive around or let drive you batty?  

Crystal, I am so happy that your dad is moving back to Illinois.  I know that it will be a huge relief to have him closer.  

Christine, I about fell over when you said you did not have anything going on today!  Is the world ending today?  

For me, I get a little excitement today.  We are hosting a career day for 8th graders and I get to have one sit with me for several hours.  That is my favorite age (I know, I am crazy folks but I love that age group).  It will be fun!  It will add something different to my day.  

I amde my hotel reservations for the conference for Carla and I last night so we are definitely going to be there!  Hope many others will join us.

Dee you are certainly my hero.  I don't think I could drive a school bus and not even because of the kids, just the size of the bus alone would do me in!  LOL

Well the car is packed with the camping gear. Now I just need to finish packing my stuff to take.
Tomorrow I am meeting the Florida OH board in Ft Lauderdale for a saturday gettogether. Ill stay with myffriend tomorrow night then on Saturday Night Ill stay with my cousin .
My cat was going nuts this morning. A geco was in the window sill outside and he fell off the inside window sill Pour baby!!!!!

Christine, you owe me a new keyboard...lol  I had a mouth full of coffee, and read what you wrote, let's just say now I am wearing the coffee...lol

Crystal, my Edward loving friend....lol  Glad to hear the shoulder is better.

Today is going to be beautiful on my end.  I high of 80.  I am so ready for it.

We got around the pool landscaped, and our tomato plants are in the topsy turvy.  I am thinking about going and getting some cucumber plants also.

Good Morning Chris, Crystal and the rest of IL!

It looks to be an awesome day outside today!  I hope it's not as windy as yesterday but at least it's warmer and the sun is shining! 

Today nothing really planned other than taking care of Austyn, who's home sick today and then taking Tyler to the Orthodontist for a tightening on this braces this afternoon.  Tyler also has practice for being a baseball Umpire tonight.  The Elbow Dr said that it would be okay for him to Ump.  He's SO glad becuase he gets paid $30 a game!  not bad for a 15 yr old.

Hi everyone! We are back home from traveling with no big plans for a  while. We were in Amsterdam about a week and then we went down the Rhine river on a ship with about 150 women. We were in Cologne, Coblenz and Melk, Germany, Strasbourg, France and Basel, Switzerland. Then we stayed in Basel a few days before returning to Amsterdam. We walked our legs off. We also saw more tulips than you can believe existed! The spring is about two weeks ahead of us there and so it was fantastically beautiful. We tried lots of strange foods, but in small amounts and things went well in that area. 

We are looking forward to the convention in Chicago and hope all of you will be there!
