Newbie with Surgery Date!

Hi!

I am new to the board, live in Central Illinois, but havuing RNY next Tueday, April 28 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village, with Dr. James Kane, Jr.

I appreciate all the posts, which have been very helpful! I believe I am as ready as I will ever be, and so far, the Pre-Op has gone well.

I would appreciate any comments, suggestions, prayers, etc.

 

Good luck with your surgery.  Feel free to post any questions here on OH-Illinois forum.  Everyone has been so helpful to me.  I had surgery on 01/12/2009 and still have questions that I feel very comfortable asking my new OH friends.

Congratulations on joining us on the losers bench.  Dr. Kane Jr. was my surgeon, and he has the most amazing blue eyes.  You are in good hands

Oh, wow! So far, he has been great - even met with me twice already! I really like him.

Wow! 107 lbs! That is so wonderful! Glad to hear someone else say I am in 'good hands!'
