Pro-WLS PCP near DeKalb?

 Hi everyone,

Today I had a very interesting discussion with my PCP about WLS.  He is VERY anti-WLS.  So I am now on a search for a doctor who is more open to the surgery.  Do you have any advise about finding a doctor?  Do you know of any WLS friendly docs?  I am in DeKalb, but I'm willing to drive if they accept Medicaid.  Thanks!

Dr. Christine Gorman in Rochelle is WLS friendly.  I don't know if she is accepting new patients.

If you don't find anyone, there is a Doctor who has an office at, or around the new hospital who is taking new patients. I know nothing about him. Call the hospital information and they will give you some names of Doctors in Dekalb who are taking new patients.

If all else fails call UIC. I left you some numbers in the message I sent you.
