Tuesday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois!

It is wet and dreary outside today...not looking forward to the cold temperatures today. Just a few errands to run today...getting ready to go to WV. This week-end will be busy...got a baby shower to go to for my nephew and his wife.

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

Nothing too exciting going on for me today, unless Liv's audition tonight is considered exciting (and it kind of IS).  She is auditioning for "The King & I" and the children's parts are pretty small so there will not be too much for her to do.  Unless, of course, there are not enough boys of the right age.......then it is possible that she could be cast as "Louis" Anna's son.  It is still a small part, but more challenging.

I was up later than usual last night after a really fun support group in Rockford.  It was good to see the new faces, and I hope we were helpful.

David has a new girlfriend that is older and she has asked him to her prom which is less than 2 weeks away.  I guess someone should take him to look for a tux.......

I was up at seven this morning but for some reason wandered over to the Willow web site to view a lesson from Joshua in Numbers by Dr. Nancy Grisham.

Beans and rice are cooked but I have run out of tortillas.  We cooked Spanish Rice and refried beans as well we are finishing off the cornbread casserole.  I think you have to have had a cornbread casserole to want to dip into one.  That leaves a lot of folks out.  This may mean we do not fully get the idea of being on subsistance, especially as these are the foods we have been denying ourselves for years. 

The rainy weather has put a serious damper on my spirits. Where is Spring????

I'm looking forward to cooking dinner today.  I have some tofu strips that I want to try today. Hopefully the kid will not take notice!
