Good morning IL peeps, what's cookn'? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but ole man winter is sort of back. He decided to rear his ugly head again. I am sure everyone wants to get out and do some of this FarmerThis makes me chuckle because the original of this was painted not too far from where Dave grew up in Iowa.

Anything special going on in your world today? I think I will take myself over to Target after work to see if I can get a couple of different colored shells to wear under sweaters and shirts. I have a very limited supply but mostly in creme or beige.

Dave and I will be at the Diabetes Expo at Navy Pier again this year on Saturday. I will be there as a patient advocate for Dr Rosen's booth. Dr R is speaking again this year and our fab exercise guru Joey will also be speaking. If  you do not have any plans come on down. There is a lot of great diet, health, nutrition etc info. And besides it is a time to get out and walk.

Hello everyone

Well I gave in yesterday and went to the doctor.  All I needed was muscle relaxers.  I took one and 30 mins later I was already feeling much better.  I could feel the tightness go away.  I slept pretty good too.  Thanks goodness for drugs.

I'm at work ready for another busy but boring day.  I hate year end.

Well have a wonderful day.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

The expo I am sure will be the highlight of my year again as it was last year. It is so fun to be able to help and encourage people down the road to health.

Good morning Christine and Illinois Friends

I am up so I guess I am ready to deal with the weather.  It is supposed to be in the 80's by the end of the week so hold on to that thought!

Christine, your picture made me smile.  My cousin and her husband imitated the famous picture and included it in their Christmas card this year.  It was a hoot.

Today is a full day of work for me.  After Friday off and a half day off yesterday, it is back to full work days for the rest of the week.  I would love to work part time but cant afford it.

Not much going on in my corner of the world.  Hope everyone stays warm and dry today.  Just remember Mr        will be back soon.

Good Morning..

I'm feeling just as crummy as this weather.  I've felt it coming on since Friday but now it's in full force.  I really don't know what to take except Tylenol.  I went to Walgreens and looked at all the over the counter meds and got overwhelmed and then of course, I'm always afraid to take something w/out checking w/ Dr. R's office.

Sniffles, runny nose, headache.  UGH!

I'm going to go back to bed for a bit and see if that helps any.

Hugs,
Christina

Sorry that you are feeling crummy. I find that the best is Tylenol Severe Cold and then I also like Alka-Seltzer Plus. Neither have aspirin meds in them as they have Acetaminophen in them. The little bit of bubbles will not hurt you.

Good Morning Christine and the whole of Illinois.

My world is very exciting today, NOT! Just work and home. Get some exercise time in, and cook dinner.

Tomorrow night we will be heading to Peoria to see the Conwat Twitty Review. It was a Xmas present from our youngest daughter, as well as a gift card for dinner. It was suppose to be held in March, but was posponed.

Christine, it is so nice to see you so busy with life.

Janet, enjoy your day at work,

Crystal, I am glad you finally gave in and went to the Dr.

Keep good thoughts, stay warm and dry. Stay safe.

Hugs

Lisa
