Monday Roll Call
Good Morning Carla and the rest of IL
It's another Monday and a rainy, gloomy one at that, but once again, I woke up, so that's a good day!
Today will be a busy one for me. Tyler needs bloodwork done, then it's a trip to the Dermatologist for him because he's got these huge lumps in his armpits and they are hurting him. They have tripled in size over the weekend and he's having a hard time putting his arms down, which isn't good since his left arm is in a sling! Then we have to stop at the eye Dr for him, he lost the screw for his glasses...of course all of these places are at opposite sides of the earth! lol
Tonight he's got a meeting with his "boss" about umpiring with his injury. The Orthopedic Dr said that he could IF his boss said it was okay. we'll see what happens. Other than that, just studying psychology for me!
I hope everyone has a wonderful, warm, dry and safe day today!

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Good morning Carla and the rest of Illinois!
Good luck on the packing Carla, it must be an interesting chore. My "boys" went camping this last weekend and it was pouring rain yesterday when they broke camp. Lots of mud came home with them!
I am working today, them getting ready for the Rockford Support Group tonight. I am going to print out the recipes, and make my pie, probably here after I am done working. It is pretty nice to have a full kitchen in our building. I also have the protein samples bagged up, so it should be a good meeting.
Tomorrow, Liv is auditioning for the Pec's rendition of "The King and I". I am thinking of auditioning also, but I have not had to sing for years and my pipes are really rusty, so I may not. They are asking that the adults sing first, then, if they can sing, they are being called back to read......I think I can stay busy helping with the production.
I am still looking for 2 more volunteers for the OH conference......anyone want to earn a ticket?
Not much else going on with me.
Have a wonderful day and ignore the gloom.

Red Feather Lakes is a nice area.
Oatmeal for breakfast and no cigars this week. Only rice, beans and tortillias as the rest of my allowed food this week to try and get some empathy going for those who have this or less all of the time. Some meat and extra veggies are also allowed. Not really much different from what I ate while in college.
Winter just does not want to give up, eh.
Need to figure out how to get xaml and windows projects to play nice together.

Good Morning All -
I'm not working this morning so house cleaning is in order. I do however, have to work at OB tonight.
Two of my girls got loose last night. What a sick feeling. I did not realise that the garage door did not go all the way down when I came in from work. Missy knows how to open the door from the kitchen into the garage. Yes, she is a smart girl. LOL
Needless to say, I went in to the bedroom to change out of my work clothes. My oldest, Harley came in and was barking at me. When I came out, noticed the kitchen door to the garage was standing open and two were gone. No, Missy does not shut the door behind her. Harley was trying to tell me that her bad little sisters were at it again. I drove around for almost an 1 1/2 hrs. I was beside myself. I called Calvin and he left work. He told me to call our police dept to let them know. I called the non emergency line and the dispatcher tells me that there is a police car in route. A lady had both of them at the side of the road about 1.5 miles from my house. Holy cripes. I get there and this poor lady is standing on the side of the road in the pouring down rain with my very smelly dogs. She has her car flashers on in the middle of a very busy street. I gave her big hug and thanked her from the bottom of my heart.
Both girls got bathed when we got home. Oh my gosh. They still stink. I will have to bathe them again today. I don't know what they got into but they smelled like sewer.
They are all safe and I'm so grateful for the lady that had enough passion to stop and help.

A fast fly by for me as I am at the tail end of my lunch. Like Randy Dave and I are participating in Celebration of Hope and are limiting our food intake as a sacrifice and reminder that children the world over go hungry and do not have clean drinking water. Every 5 seconds a child dies from hunger-related causes and also every 15 seconds a child dies from water-related diseases. It is mind boggling that 1.5 billion people do not have access to clean water. I have some hunger pangs but by far it is nothing like what others that do not have hardly anything go through every day. I can get through this for 5 days, just imagine what they go through EVERY day?
