Yes I am really up this morning.  Not sure I will stay up though.  My computer did a security update this morning and an automatic restart that woke me up.  Normally I would sleep through that but I went to bed at 9 last night.  If I stay up I may become wealth and wise and we would not want that.

What is going on in y'all's worlds?

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Good morning. Off to work here in a short while. I need to go into work and compose the minutes from the meeting into a doc and get it sent out to the members via e-mail and that is about it for the day other than usual work duties.

Good Morning Randy   and Illinois Friends!

That is really you up this early this morning?  Is the world going to end?

Happy Friday everyone!  Iit is susposed to be another beautiful day.  I have put in for time off today so hopefully they will let me go home early today so I can enjoy the nice weather.  I ate my lunch outside yesterday and it was so peaceful and the birds were chirping away.  Veery relaxing.  When I came home I discovered that the cleaning lady had opened a few windows so the house smelled nice and fresh.

No special plans for the coming weekend other than to enjoy this weather.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning everybody!  I went to class last night and found that one of the students who was to work in the student clinic had a car accident.  She was fine, but not able to come in.  So I was asked to step in and handle her first client.  It was an older gentleman who I had met last year when I went to the clinic as a client.  He was a great client to massage and he was very happy at the end.  He even tipped me!  After the massage, I returned to class and we traded massages after the lecture.  I massaged one of my co-students and then she gave me an awsome massage!  It was a great night.  Next week I have three corporate chair events to go and perform.  That's something like 32 chair massages plus whatever I end up doing in class in the evenings.  On the food front, I went for buffalo wings yesterday for lunch.  It's weird but buffalo wings are the one food that I never seem to have problems with.  But it felt goog to get some protein in me without problems.  This week has been so bad that I think I was actually feeling run down due to a lack of nutrician.  I feel better now that I've gotten some calories to go down.  We have a very full weekend with Nic's Pinewood Derby and soccer game, then chores on Sunday and dinner at a friend's house.  I hope everybody has a good weekend.

I love this recipe for boneless buffalo chicken!

Here's my LOW FAT/HI PRO/SUPER LOW CARB CHICKEN AND BLEU CHEESE SPREAD...if you're on purees, toss it in the blender before heating!

1 Lg can chicken (12.5 oz)
2 oz 0% fat greek yogurt
2 oz non fat cream cheese
4 tbsp Frank's Red Hot sauce
3 tbsp crumbled bleu cheese
a few shakes onion powder

Moo**** all together in a pot, stir until warmed through and melty. Great with crackers or on flatbread for pizza, or just by the forkful-- especially good topped with melted cheese!

As above, per serving (makes 3 servings of about 1/2 cup each)--- terrific numbers!!!

164 calories
4.6 g fat
1 g carbs
24.3 g protein

Good Morning Randy and the rest of IL!

The sun is out and it's going to be a glorious day today!  I don't have any real plans til this afternoon, when Mike I will be going to the Doubletree Hotel in Schaumburg to help set up for a Marriage Encounter Weekend.  we are also meeting the "other sides" to drop off kids...lol

Yesterday when I called the Orthopedic Dr for Tyler they wanted to see him right away, so I picked him up and took him in.  Turns out the Dr will not cast him because the type of injury he has will heal better without ending up permanently stiff if we just ace wrap it and keep it in the sling.  Tyler is thrilled about that, because showers will be so much easier.  The Dr did say though that he is to do absolutely NO physical activity for a very long time.  This injury will take months to heal he said.  Tyler chipped the elbow bone and also tore the ligaments around the elbow.  Dr said it would have been better had he just broken the arm/elbow, it would have healed faster.  Live and learn, it's gonna kill Tyler not to be able to play sports though.  I'll have to take him with me for my walks and whatnot just to get him out!

I hope everyone has a wonderful, warm (yay!) and safe day today

Monica

Hello everyone

It's been a boring week of the same old stuff- work, work and more work.  It's year end for us so not much time for anything but accounting.

Since the weather has been nice I have been getting out and walking alot at work and home.  I also tried on a pair of jeans today that I haven't been able to wear in 4 years.  With the weight I lost before and after surgery I finally can wear them again.  So I'm happy about that.

Well have a wonderful spring day!!!

Good morning Randy and the rest of Illinois!

I am working until 1 today (if we are not too busy) then I am not sure what is up.

A friend/softball team mate of Todd's passed away and the funeral is today.  He went to the visitation last night, but afterward, could not decide if he should take off of work today for the funeral.  If he does, I might meet him and the rest of the softball team for lunch.  Tonight is supposed to be their first softball game of the season also, so they were talking about hanging out together before the game.  BUT, he is also supposed to take the Scouts camping and groceries need to be purchased.  He has enough adults this time that he COULD meet the Scouts tomorrow morning and be with his team today/tonight.  If so, I will probably have to get the groceries and make sure the boys get off OK.  Funny thing is, last time I bought groceries for a camp out, they said I didn't do it right.........go figure.  When we went to bed last night, he had not decided what he was going to do.  I guess he will call me or email me and let me know.

Liv is working at the museum tomorrow and Riley is coming out for tomorrow night.  Just us girls!

I need 2 more volunteers to help with the clothing exchange on Friday at the OH conference on June 12 if anyone else is interested........You will earn your ticket to the conference by helping out and it will be fun!

Everyone have a magnificent day!

Tell someone that you love them!
