Monday Roll Call

Good morning kids, sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is Monday and the weekend is over.

I do not have the boss at work today, WOOHOO! I am off to get ready for work. I will check back in later on today and "chit chat" with everyone.

Our Easter was good, very low key and kind of a lazy day, though Mike and I did go for a nice long walk with the dogs.  The weather was so nice I just couldn't stay inside.  The dogs love it too.  I plan on taking walks with them everyday now that it's getting to be nicer outside. 

Today, nothing planned, just homework and some light cleaning.  I woke up this morning freezing and I can't get warm, not sure why.  I am drinking some hot tea right now and hopefully that will help.

Hello everyone

I'm at work...yuck. 

I'm doing ok.  I haven't weighed myself but I will at the end of this week.  Another thing I noticed I'm tighter some days and times than I am on others.  So there are times when I think I need a fill and other times I think I don't need one.  I also I got stuck yesterday..OW that hurts.  I guess I'm still getting used to this band.

It is a dreary Monday here.  Rainy days and Mondays are not the way I like to start the week but it is better than the alternative.  

I had  good weekend but as usual it went too fast.  

No big plans for today.  Just the usual things.

Chris - Enjoy work today w/out the boss. 

I'm not doing any marketing today so I don't have to be at the pizza shop until 5:30.  I'm getting ready to take a walk w/ Harley.  I can only walk one at a time so I have to rotate who goes.  After my walk, I plan on working in the flower beds.  Hopefully the weather will hold out for me.  If it rains, I have plenty of things to do inside.  I do need to run to Costco and pick up dog food sometime today.  By the way, I'm able to get a tennis shoe on my foot.  Yahoo!  That's about it.

Good Morning Christie and the rest of IL,
WOW, What a weekend I had, Sat was the party that day was very busy, and yesterday Easter, we went out to eat with the family for brunch, then to a local park so the kids can do a Easter Egg hunt, After that over to Jim's cuz for a visit, then for Dinner over to my oldest Sons house for a cookout, by last night I was wiped.
Today I have a job Interview and I sure hope I get this one, I use to work for them about 15ys ago and it is still the same boss, I did talk to her Friday so everyone cross you fingers for me,
Other then that not much else going on, I am going to run to walmart and see what I can get for Easter next year, I like to do that, it sure saves me money and with 8 grands I need to save the money.

Good Morning.

Well, I am too off to work on this yucky morning., I had sandals on yesterday, ans am back to shoes and socks today. Spring weather will come eventually.

We had a great dinner at Starved  Rock yesterday. Especially since they honor our cards, and I was able to eat for 1/2 price.

This week is work and a visit to the knee specialist on Wed afternoon.

Good morning Illinois!

It is already raining here........just a light drizzle when I took Bella out but now it's pouring. Had a great day yesterday. Had lunch with Dan and Jen and dessert with Jackie and her family. Got stuck on some ham at Jackie's house. She seemed alarmed when I had to make a quick exit to the bathroom. Oh well, it doesn't happen everyday.

Meeting a friend for lunch today...can't wait. We haven't gotten together in months. Have a lot to catch up on.

Good morning Christine and everyone-

Well Easter was fun with the kids.  We did Easter at my house with my nieces, brother, SIL and mom.  The kids had fun hunting for eggs and seeing what the bunny brought them!  My 8 year old was really concerned Sat night that our dogs would get the bunny!  LOL

My procedure went well on Fri.  Dr H said that there was actually a piece of food stuck in my stoma.  He removed it and dilated the opening a little so that hopefully it would not happen again.  Otherwise he said everything looked great in there!  My throat was really sore on Sat but other than that I was able to start eating up the diet where I am currently at which is soft foods now!  So life is good!  

I go in for my 6 week appt tomorrow!  I cannot believe it has been 6 weeks already!  Amazing!  I have clothes I cannot weat anymore cause they fall off me, which I am so thankful about!

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work for the day.  After work, I need to race home, pick up Liv and bring her back to Rockford for a meeting at the museum at 4.  She is doing the recyclingproject as her Silver Award for Girl Scouts, so it is important that she go to the meeting.

At lunch, I will take the book on CD that is due and get another one.  I can't believe that I didn't figure this out sooner!  With over an hour a day in the car (at least) and my love of books, this is a match made in heaven!  I just finished "Ricochet" by Sandra Brown and it had me wanting to drive more!

Our Easter was nice enough and the meal at my MIL's was decent.
