Thursday Roll Call
What a beautiful day it is outside....can you tell I've already been out with the dog. I'm hoping it hits at least 55 outside today. The bright sunshine makes me want to be outdoors.
I need to get to the grocery store and pick up a few things for Easter dinner. Tomorrow we are going to visit my mother in law for Easter. Saturday it will be a visit to my mom. Her birthday is on Easter this year. Sunday we will be with some of our children and grandchildren.
I may not on here a lot this week-end so I'm sending you a "Blessed Easter" wish today! Happy Passover to all who celebrate!
Have a glorious day!
I am working today, then off tomorrow. That is a first for this company. Since the hours have been cut and most everyone is not here on Fridays, the boss decided to give the 2 of us that DO come in on Fridays tomorrow off, without pay. I still have to come through the city tomorrow as Olivia has an overnight with a friend in Belvidere tomorrow. David is hoping to hang out with a friend also, so Todd and I may get "alone time" for maybe dinner and a movie or something. WOW!
Saturday, I have to come back to Belvidere to pick Liv up, then home to make the cupcakes for Easter Sunday dinner with the in-laws.
Tonight, I have to go to the Pec Playhouse Board meeting to roll out the new middle school age youth committee. That should be exciting, but I hope to be home in time for "Harper's Island". It looks to be an interesting show....kind of based on Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None".
I wish you all a very good Passover and Easter celebrations with your families.
Happy Passover to everyone.
Today I am doing doctor visits. I have an appointment with my PCP this morning, then my 1 year surgery appointment this afternoon and Beemer has a checkup for his surgery followup tonight. So I get to spend the day in waiting rooms

Tomorrow I am off and am looking forward to a day off! No special plans but do want to get some things done around the house.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning all and congrats on the two recent WLS surgeversuries as well as your life saver Monica. I am looking forward now to my surgery in three or four months depending on scheduling and of course approval. The surgeversury and reaching goal though are definately in my mind.
Need to get paperwork done and maybe another video as well as making sure I have the right part for a customer so I can call them to pick it up.
I am glad I have the blood(metaphorically) over my door but even happier it has been applied to my heart. By faith Abraham. May God keep you all safe and give you a great weekend.
I will miss family at Easter but not the calories they would have to offer. I bought a nine pound spiral ham on sale at Meijer yesterday and it will be spread over at least five meals. Willow will compete with family on the calories as Cheryl has been assigned to serve desserts in volunteer central for two days. It will not come close to what one gets going to two family diners and hanging out all day with all that food around.
Saw Dr. yesterday and my blood work looks great and he said I am doing really well! Yippie! NO more potassium for me!
So to celebrate I decided to go to Old Navy and see how far away I am from wearing a XXL. I picked out a couple shirts, some stretchy some not thinking, 'no way are these going to fit'. I went to the dressing room and cried! The shirts fit - so I had to buy two! I was so excited I told the gal at the register and she squealed with excitement for me! I am wearing one today and it is almost a little to big in the top area for work!
Man - this is amazing! I have lost 80 pounds since this journey began last April and you know what? I figured out that is like carrying two of my sons around with me everywhere.
