Good morning Jen and the rest of Illinois.

Jen, we will be waiting to hear what your doctor has to say......

I am working today, then home to make dinner.  Todd has to give blood then go to "Round Tables" (a Boy Scout thing) so I'd like to have something ready when he stops by between gigs....
Not too much exciting going on with me.  I am feeling better, the head cold is just about gone and I am grateful.  It will be nice to have a quiet evening without any major plans.  Tomorrow?????

I am also grateful for the sunshine as it always makes us feel better.

Everyone have a fabulous day!

Well the doctor thinks I have stenosis.  They are going to do a scope on Fri to open the whole more so I can swallow.  I am on liquids till then.  I get to take more time of work....YAH!  My boss will be thrilled!  NOT!  Oh well!

I am glad to here you are feeling better!  So many viruses and strains are going around!

Dear Jen,
Glad to hear that it is a (basically) minor issue and can be fixed right away.
Work will get over it and be happy for you when you are all better.
As long as you can get your protein shakes in, you should be good to go.

Hang in there, I know it is not fun to have bumps in the road.......

I always say that my husband gets the 'Readers Digest' version of things.  He never gets all the info!

I am going to my 3 month (although it's almost 4) Nutrition Class today.  I hope she doesn't read to us like she did last time....to boring.  But I get to see Dr. Joyce and see how my blood work came out!  I am nervous becuase I always forget to take my potassium, plus it tastes like ass so that doesn't help.

I am going to plant a garden this year to help me keep moving and getting outside...my sister is really good at it so I am hoping that it is genetic.  I hope the weather gets nice enough soon because I don't want to lose my excitment about it.

Hi everyone,

I got that call from the Sleep study tech and determined that I did need a C-pap machine. The test determined that at 7cm's they were able to restore my H20 levels and now I am just waiting on the facility to get pre-certified from my insurance for my machine and mask. I am not looking forward to breaking in that machine/mask but I am partially relieved that I now understand why I am so tired most of the time. This has also strengthened my resolve a little more to get through the process and hopefully join you guys/gals on the losing bench.

Thanks for reading,
Omar

Omar-  Can't wait to have you on the losers bench with us!  It must be a relief to know why you were tired all the time!  Since I had surgery I do not snore anymore according to my husband and I actually sleep all the way through the night!  It is amazing!
You will get through the process in no time!  Take it step by step!

Omar -

A dear friend of mine said that once he got used to the machine, it was amazing how good he fealt.  Just getting solid sleep will be amazing.

You may actually find you have less of an appetite once you have your cpap. I was on Atkins for two years with no weight loss before I got my machine and then I lost a hundred pounds.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

I want to plant a garden too and agree that we need some warmer weather so we can get there!  Hopefully today is a turn for the better in the weather dept!
