Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois-

I am at work counting down till 6am!  I get to go home then.  This is my second shift since surgery.  Now I have found out that I need to see my surgeon tomorrow as I am having trouble eating anything other than liquids.  They were saying maybe it is a stricture I think.    I keep throwing up! 

I am looking forward to sleeping and cuddling with my youngest daughter today!  Then we have ballet class and horse back riding lessons for my daughters!  I am suppose to work tonight as well! 

I hope you all have a pleasant Wed and think warm weather, we are suppose to be heading back into the 50's!!!

Jen, you would not be able to keep liquids down either if you had a stricture because that is what happened with my sister after her RNY. Most definitely get in touch with your doc.

Good morning everyone.  about the weather also. With the sunshine yesterday I was able to use my 3 season room because it was nice and warm out there and I got my new sheers up out there and ordered the additional ones for the south window.

Well, I downloaded IE8 onto this computer and I lost (or I just cannot find it) my Smiley Central so that is what I will be doing when I come home tonight from work. Maybe I will just purchase the full boat version from the company so the software is on my computer. Speaking of computers - I am having a devil  of a time trying to figure out how to download my music to my Garmin GPS  

Well, the party I voted for did not get in in my village. It is going to be real interesting what happens here in the next month. Our budget year starts on May 1 - we will see  . . . . . .

For me today I am cleaning up the front and back porch today getting ready for Jim's and Brother in laws B-day Party Sat, My oldest Granddaughter stay over night last night she is going to help me with the cleaning,

Other then that not much going on here,
Yes the weather is getting warmer I hope that it stays that way and not go back into winter,
I need some warm weather,

Hello everyone

So its my third day back at work...I'm doing great considering I don't really like my job. 

I bought a pocket sized notebook yesterday so I can keep a food diary in my purse.  So it goes where I go.  I was having trouble keeping track of protein and calories.  I don't think I'm getting enough calories in every day.  that's why I want to keep track of my calories.  I am also trying to keep track of when I feel hungry again and how much I eat.  Because my first fill is scheduled on 4-24 and I want to make sure a fill is necessary. 

I have to finish my Easter shopping after work today.  Yes, I still give my daughter an Easter basket.  Some people think she's way too old.  But my grandma always gave me one every year until she died ( I was 26).  But instead of toys and stuffed animals, I put in a gift cards to her favorite restaurants and candy.  College kids always appreciate food.

Well I better get going.  Have a nice day.

Don't worry about calories yet - you have too much to worry about!  Like healing.  You just had major surgery, don't stress yourself out too much...

 Good Morning Jen and Illinois Friends!

Another bright and sunny day!  Plus it is hump day and I am happy with our local elections.  The people I elected actually won.  We got rid of a terrible mayor and I think our new may who happens to be my alderman will do an excellent job.  We had lots of change in our elections including the mayor in our twin city who had held the office for 4 years being ousted.  I must say it is about time.

Christine, I hop your job is not affected by your elections.  I know what it is like to think you are going to retire from a job only to find yourself out of your position.  In my case, my position was eliminated after 25 years.  

Jen. I hope they get to the bottom of your inability to keep food down.  

Crystal, we got easter baskets and Christmas stockings well into our 40's.  You are never too old!  Of course, we also made them for our parents as well.

UGH!  I am trying to change my profile pic and it shows up when I download it on the avatar page, but not anywhere else!!  I don't know what I am doing wrong!  oh well.  (Hey, now it's there...lol  good!)

I added some pics from Vegas onto my profile as well if you'd like to check them out.  I had such a good time.  I wi**** could have been longer though.

Today I have no plans..I love days like this.  I'll just do things as they come to me.  Oh, I do plan on working out though...so I will do that!

Crystal, getting in enough calories and protien was always an issue for me early out too.  hang in there, you're doing awesome!
