Freaking out due to insurance
, I have my last appt with my PCP tom, and than I can get a ref to see the surg, I'm so scared that my insurance BCBS/IL Advantage, will be tripping, I pray eveything goes right for you, as well as myself, I will pray for us both!!!!!

I have Aetna Choice POS II, and they were a breeze to deal with.
I did the 3 month disciplinary diet, saw a nutritionist, and my PCP and also a physical therapist once a month.
Don't over load them with information. The simpler the package ,the quicker it is for approval. ( I have talked to a few people who work in the business and they each told me the same thing)
Doing the pre-op requirements by Aetna are a must. have you read the bulletin? They go by this strictly. They do not approve unless you have met one of the 2 guidelines... either a 6 month program or a 3 month multi disciplinary. I found this out the hard way, but actually it wasn't bad.

Its very cut and dry. but if you follow the program, either one you choose, you are guaranteed a chance for a smooth process.
PM me and ill tell you exactly what I did, and I made it very simple. Also, Have your surgeon fax it as urgent and you should get a response within 4-5 days at most. ( I have phone numbers for you , if you wanna bug them =) )
