Good Morning All.   I was so excided about going to the support meeting tonight, i even have a friend that is going to have surgery to go with me... Well it isn't even tonight... lol  I was thinking it was the first Monday of the month... I had to text her last night after 10, to tell her it wasn't tonight. I finally got on here and looked it up.
Went to Chicago yesterday to get my book started for my daughter's Quince in Dec. Got a few sponcers already. I'm getting excided about planning all the things she will be doing.  Next big step is finding a dance hall big enough, if anyone knows of a Hall in Rockford  please let me know.
Have a nice day Robbie

Hi everyone,

I got a bad case of the "Mondays'" but I think that has a lot to do with breaking in a new pillow and not sleeping very well on Friday due to my sleep study. It looks like I got my first co-morbidity (Sleep Apnea) diagnosed at the sleep study. For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure  of going through a sleep study, it is a major pain in the rear. The sleep tech's do their best to make you feel comfortable but their is nothing conducive about being hooked up to 14 wires and two bands around your chest. It is even that more challenging if you happen to be a side sleeper. Long story short, after about 3 1/2 hours they placed me no a Cpap machine and I finally fell asleep on my back for a few hours. The good news is that I hopefully wont have to repeat that since he was able to run a split test and find the correct pressure for me to gain some R.E.M. sleep. I am definitely going to have to blog about this experience for anyone who hasn't had the fun. I know I shouldn't complain since in reality it is going to help me but I had to get in just a little rant. Thanks for dealing with my rants.

Thanks,
Omar

I,mmmm dreamin' of a green Easter.  One like we used to have at home. Watched the Houston open yesterday afternoon with friends and then drove home as it started to snow here.  I do not really miss it but it was a good familiar feeling to watch it.  If I was there I would have been in misery from my allergies and covered with sweat.

A few phone calls this morning to follow up paperwork and order a seat for a scooter then back to C# for me.

I hope this is the last of the snow and ice for this year.  I have promised myself to find a pawn shop or garage sale seven iron, buy some wiffle balls and start getting out around our lakewith them.  The Wii golf is fun but does not get the walking and slow pace of actually hitting something and following it around.

How funny, Cheroity. My son's 3rd b-day and party was on Saturday. Fun (and lots of work!) Monday came too soon here, too!

Hang in there!

Hello!
Crystal - good to see you are back and well!  I went back to work after a week - don't push yourself!

Yesterday was DH's birthdya and my nephews was APril1 - so we all went to Dave & Busters to celebrate.  It was so fun, I had never been before.

I am dreaming of a green Easter too!

Hi everyone!

I have been really bad about posting, and I am sorry.

Life is about as normal as it gets around here, so that is good.

Right now we are all batteling colds with scratchy sore throats and achy bones and congestion.
YUK!

I am looking forward to our Disney trip in May, only 36 days away!  Just Jeff and I for a long weekend, Hurray!!!

That trip has kept me motivated to behave and stay strong on my eating.  I made it to 95 pounds lost and hope to be at 100 pounds gone by our trip, then we can truely celebrate!

I am working on getting back to basics and sticking to proteins and away from carbs, as I have been bad at doing that.  I also got into habit of grazing instead of 3 meals a day, so now I am trying to break that bad habit again.  Oh my so much to think about, but at least my head is back in the game.

I hope everyone has a great day.

Hello everyone and good afternoon -
I'm late posting..  I had a late start this morning.  After Calvin left for work, I slipped back into bed and just could not get going.  I was so tired from having Madison last week then the whole family Saturday and Sunday.  It was nice to see them all but it's nice to have the house quiet again.  I did a couple hours of marketing this afternoon and now I need to get ready to leave for Outback soon.  Not much else going on.

Have a great day everyone!

Good afternoon boys and girls. I had a relatively slow day as it was not my day to deal with the arrest paperwork. I finished up the remainder of the arrest statistics for the department which is a relief and it is done until May when I volunteered to do it again. Oh joy what did I get  myself into? I need to get them all done before we leave for Louisville for our 35th.

Dave and I have been to Walgreen's already as he needed some first aid supplies. He has a rather nasty bruise on his right forearm that broke open (broke open on the plane because he bumped it and he was afraid they would see it and not let him on for his flight home) and has been bleeding. He had bloodwork at his doc today and he looked at it and made suggestions for the dressings for me to put on it. Because he is on a blood thinner and has no fat under the skin on his arms he bruises horribly and they take forever to heal.

Well, I need to get an e-mail out and then fold undies and carry the ironed clothing up two flights of stairs

.
