Hello everyone
I'm back at work now. Most of my incisions have healed and I'm feeling good. I'm starting to be able to eat a bit more than before. I guess the swelling is going down. But I really don't ever feel hungry (at least not the way I used to feel hungry).

For me today not much going on this is my cleaning day after the weekend,
Glad that we did not get the snow,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Good Morning Crystal and the rest of IL
Well it's back to school for the kids, so no more sleeping in for me! I am heading to the Take Care Clinic again today because I am still sick from before my trip and I am pretty sure I have a sinus infection now. We'll see what they say.
I also have to pick Tyler up from school and take him to the dermatologist this afternoon. He's having some issues with his triglycerides because of the meds he's on and I have a feeling they might take him off of them because of it. They have gone from normal to up over 300 in 2 months. He's also getting these weird cyst type things under his arms and now he's got one on his head too. That's all the running around for me to do.
I have to make a few phone calls today too, one being to Dr Rantis's office since they still haven't called about my blookwork I had almost 2 weeks ago. I'm so glad that they care about the labs enough to let people know. They have never called me, I have always had to contact them about it. Makes me a little frustrated.
Well have a warm and safe day today everyone!!

Crystal, I cant believe you are back in the trenches! Dont start out with your 10 hour days or you will be exhausted. Glad you are feeling better.
I got a little more news on my great nephew last night. He does not have menegitis so that is a huge relief. They still are not sure what is going on. He will be in the hospital for at least a few more days. I also found out him mom (my niece) is pregnant with her third child! I get to be a great Aunt again! She is about 7 months along. Unfortunately, she is as sick as a dog and is trying to deal with her son in the hospital, and a preschool daughter. Her hubby was out of town when Benton got sick, but is back home now. He did not understand how sick Benton was at first so did not hurry home. Men!
But he has stayed overnight with Benton since he has been back. My sister is also there helping out
I also found out yesterday that Benton has some type of disease that only 40 people in the country have. They are not sure what all is going on but think he will out grow it. Poor kid, has had surgery to remove a melanoma growth from his back at about 9 months. He was born with that growth. He is having a hard life in his early years. Hopefully they will get better.
For me, it is back to work. My 1 year surgerversary is tomorrow. Where has the year gone? It does not seem possible! What a wonderful year.

Hello everyone-
Well I am back from my cruise which was amazing! I got alot of rest and had alot of fun!
I came home Thurs night and then Fri night had my daughter Jessie's 7th bday party here with 13 girls for a slumber party! It was crazy fun!
Sat night I went back to work for my first shift in a month. I finally felt good the Wed before I left for the cruise. I made it through but even working eight hours made me exhausted cause I stand alot of the time and walk around.
I out 5 weeks from surgery tomorrow. I am down 34 pounds on my scale which is amazing. I feel so much better and sleep so much better! My pants are HUGE on me but I refuse to buy new ones yet!
Good to be back and I hope everyone enjoys the sun!

Took Ava and Vince to lunch yesterday then went back to their house and played Wii fit. My wii fit age clocked me at 49...not bad for someone turning 53 in a few weeks. I did super doing the hula hoop!
I think I want a wii!!!!!!!
Got a crockpot of chili going already.....must do some grocery shopping today and of course the dreaded laundry. I've got a board meeting tonight. We need to decide on a new management company. Hopefully we will get that done tonight.
Hopefully all the snow will melt quickly today. Be safe if your going out.

Glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to be back at work, just take it easy, as you will still probably get tired out.
I am at work, but still have this horrible runny/stuffy nose. Saturday, Amber, Riley and I went to Cabela's and Huntley, and it just kept getting worse. By Saturday night, Liv told me I looked awful and the area around my nose was red and raw. Yesterday, after getting more medicine, I stayed upstairs in bed most of the day. I feel a bit better today, but even with the medicine, I am still blowing my nose. It is clear, so not infected, I will just have to ride it out.
Todd was called to jury duty this morning. I can't wait to hear how that turns out.
We only got a bit of snow early yesterday morning, and it was melted by 10 am. Because of the cold that I have, I did not get any horseradish dug up to grind. Maybe when I feel better........

I too am at work. I need to call for an eye doctor appointment sometimes today. It seems that I am almost blind when I don't have my glasses on (which isn't very often). I also have to call the pcp for a copy of my knee xrays to take to the knee specialist next week.
Otherwise, its a normal Monday morning, other then the 3 inches of white stuff on the ground. It started about 8 last night.
