Morning all. Is there anything special going on in your corner of the world? After I said that we were not going to do much yesterday we ended up running errands to a restaurant supply place in Lombard called Schweppe. After wards then to Sam's and Best Buy. Sam's was a zoo at about 11am and we could not wait to get out. All the people were hovering around the free food. Matzos Dave said he heard one man ask the lady that was sampling the defrosted tail on cooked shrimp - is this shrimp cooked? Like the store would be giving away a sample of uncooked food! Some people do not get out much.  We need to replace our small TV in the laundry area because the one we have now went kaput. I am also planning on putting my sewing machine in the basement so I have a designated area for it and we decided to get an exact duplicate for mounting on the wall there. Just a small LCD 19" model. We also decided to go to church last night due to the weather.

Well, today will be the stay at home day due to the weather but I will first run to the grocery store for tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese to make a small salad with the fresh basil I need to harvest from my  inside herb garden that is down under the grow light. Flower

That is about it. Hope you all have a great day.

Good Morning Christine, Dave and Illinois!

I will be going to church this morning, and then home to buckle down before the bad weather hits.  I am working on cross stitching a baby bib right now for my nephew's baby.  It will be here in November.

I have also been reading on Fibromyalagia.  It seems like I have a lot of symptoms.  Does anyone here have it?

Well, I am off to finish my coffee, clean up, and head to church.

Have a blessed day!

Dee

Good Morning All....I just noticed out my window that it was snowing ... Yuck!  I didn'****ch the weather so I didn't even know it was coming :(  So sad :(

Dee - I am not sure where you live.  But I am in Rockford and the office I work for Cevene Care Clnic actually specializes in Fibromyalagia.  We have some break thru treatments and have been able to help alot of folks live a better life.  If you are up this way .. I can have you pop in for a consultation with the doc.

Christine and Dave - I love watching the folks at Sams Club waiting for the free sample...  We were there last Sat.  I watched a women take her own spoon from the bin of spoons and the hostess lady was like NO NO ... it gave me a good chuckle.  People are so impatient.

Oh well hpe you all have a great Sunday ...

Gina :)

Yeap, I think you are supposed to get more snow than us. We are supposed to get 1-3 later on this evening. We heard on the news last night that some areas of IA got a foot yesterday.

Sam's - another thing I remembered from yesterday. They were giving samples of chicken salad and the girl that was serving it could not even speak English.  Now, I am all for people having gainful employment but the store really should not have put her at that station because people were asking her all sorts of questions. The customers were rude to her and they were wrong. I felt sorry for the girl; she had a great attitude and kept smiling.

GM Dee, no fibro for me but have a friend that has it. She really has to watch her rest/awake times to make sure that she does not aggravate it. Here is the first site that I Googled maybe it will help you. http://www.patientslikeme.com/fibromyalgia/symptoms

I would be eight hundred pounds were it not for finding Atkins about seven years ago.  Many fibro folks swear that Atkind really helps their fibro.

So you have been forgiven?

Good Morning Chris & IL -

The girls are still sleeping and it's after seven.  Wowser!

The games should begin soon.  Total craziness with three labs and a toddler around the house.  Calvin was supposed to have the day off but his assistant did a no show yesterday so he ended up working a double yesterday and had to go in and open this morning.
I'm getting ready to get some crock pot action going.  The original plan was to eat around 2 then see the kids off.  I have to work at 5 so if they don't eat at 2 food will be ready at least when they want it.

I'll be glad when everything is back to being quiet.

Chris.. DId you buy anything at Schweppe's?  Calvin and I used to frequent the place quite often when we had our restaurants.  Now that we are not in business for ourselves, we don't go there very often.

Have a great day everyone!

Christina, GM. Yes we always seem to find something that we "have to have" at Schweppe's. They have large multi paks (22 pouches compared to 5 pouches in the regular stores) of Cup of Soup that I like to keep handy for a fast snack. I try not to have too many of them because the sodium is real high and there isn't much protein in them. They just take the edge off. It is also handy for at work to keep me away from the snack machine. I picked up a couple boxes for work and home. The store is entertainment for us and we just like to walk up and down the aisles to look at the huge restaurant equipment. They have the original Murphy's Wood Soap spray (not the orange type you get in the other stores) that I like. We like to look at the small hand kitchen gadgets. Schweppe's is where we get all of our party ware like styro plates etc. We did notice that there is another restaurant supply store that opened where the Menard's used to be at North Ave and old 53 that we want to go to.

Enjoy the last day with the girls.

Good morning Illinois!

Last night we went to my aunt's church to see the Easter pageant production called "He's Alive!.  It was very moving. The church members did a great job with this production. I'm so glad we went.

Not much on the agenda today...except to watch it snow....ugh!

Have a great day everyone!
Carol
