Saturday Roll Call

Good morning all you fine folks in Lincoln Land. Up and at 'em. Looks like the weather is going to be fine today. Not much going on in my world today, surprise, surprise. I need some down time. Guess that I will do some things in the house as there is not much I can do in the yard with it being so wet still. And oh joy, more rain tomorrow to flood it again.

What is going on in your world? Is there anything special that is going on with the upcoming two holidays of Passover and Easter?

Time to make my , no decaf for me, full powered stuff.

       

 Good morning Christine and Illinois

This is a flyby post for me.  I got a call last night and they need supplies for a check class in Rockford today.  So I need to be there before 8 am and it is a little over an hour away.  I get paid as if I teach the whole class plus mileage so it is worth the turn around trip.  Just miss my opportunity to sleep in this morning.

Today is our big fund raiser for our shelter.  I have to be there at 3:30.  Somewhere in all of this I need to squeeze in grocery shopping, laundry and I need to get some new slacks.  So a busy weekend for me.

It was a ong week and I crashed at 8:15 last night.  I am running some errnds tody and having dinner with friends. The health club is also on my agenda.  I am watching Oprah from earlier in the week.  Star Jones is actually admitting to having gastric bypass.  She did talk about people saying it is the easy way out and how it is not an easy way out.  it is nice to hear her adit something she tried to hide for so long.

Good Morning All -

I have some cleaning to do this morning and need to figure out a plan for Madison this evening.  I just found out that her mother will not be into town until 8pm.  They asked if we could keep the baby and Madison over night while they go "out".  That will fall onto Calvin since I'm closing at Outback tonight.  So, I will probably either take her to work with me or drive her to Matteson (I think I spelled that right?)  to Calvin's job.  I really hate that drive but a Saturday night is no place for an eight year old at my job.  If it was a weeknight, it would be no big deal but this is our busiest night.  Oh well..  It will work out.

For now, I'm going to go veg out for a bit and ice down my foot.  Madison had a sleep over at the neighbors house so at the moment it's nice and quiet.  LOL

I'm going to fill up my coffee mug and chill.    (coffee)

Just stopping in to check with you all this morning.

I got Todd's cold and have a horribly runny nose.  It is making me crazy!  Oh well, at least I don't FEEL bad, just the nose.  Good thing too because I have a VERY busy day ahead......
Liv has Cookie Booth in Freeport from 9-4.  The museum called last night and asked if David could work in Rockford from 10-4, and Todd wants me to drive in to Cabela's to get life vests for the Boy Scout troop.  SO.....I need to finish my protein and vitamins, jump in the shower, get them out of bed, take Liv to Freeport, take David to Rockford, pick up Amber and Riley, stop for the I-Pass, get on the hightway, go to Cabela's, stop for lunch, stop at Huntley on the way back and pick David up in Rockford by 4:15.  Liv's leader is going to bring her home.  Riley may or may not come home with me, then we should all be home by 5 or 6........WHEW!!!!!

After all that, I will need a nap!

As far as Easter goes, I was told yesterday that we will be closed without pay on Friday so my total hours for the week will be 26.  We have to go to Todd's mom's on Sunday.  Whoopee!!!!

Good Morning. What a nice day it looks like. Hopefully it will  warm up abit. ! want to get out and do some yard stuff too, but its to wet and cool for me.

I have 24 cupcakes that I just baked, to decorate for my daughters birthday party tonight. Shhhh, she is 42. Then I have to clean the kitchen. Also go get gas in the van. DH was suppose to take it to work today to fill it up, and I see he took his car instead.
