Home From Vegas!
Hi everyone! I have missed you all this past week, but I did have a wonderful time with my mom in Vegas!
The weather was great, in the mid to uppper 70's and sunny every day! It was VERY windy on Wednesday, but that didn't stop us from walking around outside. We walked about 4-5 miles a day and I could have kept going, but my mom (who has back problems) couldn't. It's too bad, because I felt SO good and wasn't out of breath or anything. I was pumped and ready to go go go....lol
I did take a lot of pictures, but haven't had time to download them all yet. We had to be at the airport this morning at 3am, so we were up at 2am and I haven't really slept since then, so I am very tired.
Does anyone here know who Criss Angel is? He's an illusionist and magician?? Well he's got a show in Vegas at the Luxor hotel with Cirque De Solei and we went to see him. I got called to meet him and help him with a trick. a year ago, you couldn't have gotten me to stand up in front of about 500 people in an auditorium and do that...this time though I was right there and joking around with Criss...LOL It was awesome. I love his show in tv and to actually get to meet him and get a hug and kiss from him..wow! LOL
We also saw Jubilee, Mac King and Gregory Popovichs Pet Theater. They were all great. I didn't win any money, but I only brought with enough that was "safe" to lose as well. So I did good.
Well I think I need to head to bed for now, but I wanted to let you all know that I was home safe and sound and that I will be posting pictures in the next couple of days. We have a birthday party tomorrow up in Glenview and I get to pick up the boys...I have missed them so much too. sad I know...lol

Yes, I have had heard of Criss Angel. Does he put on a good show? Dave and I like to go to see Rick Wilcox in the Dells. He has a great show also. Rick is rated number 7 in the US for illusions and he also appears in Vegas during the Dells off season. If you are ever up in the Dells go see his show. I love Vegas too. Its a great walking city. I am so happy that you were able to take time to be with your mom. I never go to Vegas with the idea that I am going to win.If I win fine, if not, well we had fun. I go to the casinos around here with the same feeling. Its fun. I agree about how much you take with you.

I am SO jealous!!!!! I LOVE Criss Angel.....Wait until I tell the kids!!!! David especially! When we were last there, he was putting that show together and it had not opened yet so we did not get to see it. You GO GIRL!!!!! That is the coolest thing I have heard all day!!! lol

LOL Dawn, my boys were so mad that they weren't with me to see Criss Angel, they love him as well! It was truly amazing....if you guys go back there make sure you go and see the show.
I just wish they would have either taped the show for purchase or even just took a picture of the people he picks to do tricks with him...I would have paid for it! lol

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
