GM Dawn, you have horseradish growing in your back yard? Or are you going elsewhere to dig it out? Yes speaking about wet in the back yard - ours is a flood zone again. We do have a small portable pump for out there but I do not like to have it running when not home in case it is suddenly in a lower water area and then the pump can burn out if it not pumping water.

Yep, I planted horseradish in a whiskey barrel last year (I hear if you don't, it spreads and becomes invasive).  I meant to dig it in the Fall, but it froze before I got the chance.  It is now thawed nicely and I don't want it to overtake the barrel.
Do you like horseradish?

Love it. Where do you have the barrel, near the "water feature" for good sun?

Yep....where the "water feature" used to be anyway......Todd and Andy thought it would be funny to put it in the yeard of our new neighbors last year, and he loved it so much that he kept it and we can't get it back.
If the experimant turns out, I may try to send you some.

Revision on 04/19/13
Good Morning Folks,

After yesterday getting all messed up, I am going to have to double up on things that have to be done today. Plus we have an appointment at 1 that we both have to attend.

DH is in the basement trying to finish up the water softener. When he bought it a few weeks ago, I didn't even know he was thinking about one.

The only other plans for today is dinner out with friends. I am still logging all my food choices on Fitday.  It seems to be going well, but I can't seem to stay in the 800 calorie range.

Keep warm.

Huggers

GM Lisa, we used to have a water softener and do not miss it. Once we got Lake Michigan water we had it taken out.

Good job on the logging. I am going to guess that the 800 calories is recommended by Dr G? It seems really low. Both the bandster and RNY patients at my doc's office are told to eat btwn 1,000-1,200 calories a day. That might be why you are having trouble staying in your calorie range, you need a little more food.

Good Morning Illinois,

I can now add Wisconson to the staes I have been in.  Went to Trevor yesterday to set up a lift chair.  Very pretty country up there.  I took the scenic route up and even a little missed turn that sent me up through the chain of lakes.  Passed the American Girl factory.  I always like little things like that.  Took another wrong turn while trying to get over to 94 to get back down to Glenview. A gps would likely be a good addition if I were to ever be in shape to ramp up this tiny business of mine.  A gps would mess up the fun of  what dw and I call 'venturin'.  We discovered a lot of Texas and now Illinois by just heading in the general direction of somewhere we wanted to be but had extra time to get there.

Glad Beemer is home and glad I have no animals right now.  Not even a fish.  I do have a ceramic of lady though. But do not even have ivy growing in it.  Oh I also have a stick bug made from a railroad spike and of couse my stuffed Tazs.
