Greetings from Sunny Rainy florida,
I am going to be a Illinois Snowbird for the month of May and Part of June to July. Yes we are going to ascend on our daughter for the summer. Hense the snowbird traveling.....
Getting ready for our friend to come from chicago for a week I hope the sun will stay out for him.
I got a new notebook computer that weighs only 2 pounds. Will make for traveling in the airport much easier.
Well talk on folks the day is young.

Hello everyone
I'm feeling much better today. I had no dizziness yesterday and even went out to Walgreens. I'm still feeling very full after only a little bit food. I must be still swollen from surgery. My BP is still normal. I guess I keep thinking it will get high again..
Today I'm going to go out to Target get some walking in and some shopping.
Well I hope you all have a great day.

I am getting ready to start training for my job, but wanted to jump on here for a bit.
I am still having stomach problems. I don't know what to think. I am not nervous at all about my job, so I have no idea what it is.
My niece is due on November 9th, so I will be a great aunt again!

Crystal you are doing great, I don't know anything about the band but I heard that you will be swollen for a few weeks, I know with the RNY is did not eat much the first few months,
Well for me today I hit my 200 lbs lost, I am so happy in fact I am 2 lbs under my goal, so I will from now on take it as it comes, I feel for me I have lost all I need to but If my body thinks other wise so be it, My family thinks that I am thin enough but will see what DR, as to say about it next month when I go to see her for my 18 month check up.

Yesterday we went to my Sons house for dinner he made Mexican food which was very good,
He is a better cook then his wife,
We also had cake and Ice cream for my oldest granddaughter she turned 13 yesterday, I had one teaspoon of ice cream and took one bite of the choc, cake and it was so nasty it left a bad taste in my mouth, That was the first time taking a bit of cake, I am glad that I did not like it, guess my taste has changed,

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning Carla and the rest of Illinois!
If you will be here in June, are you going to attend the big OH event in Rosemont on the 12th & 13th? It sounds like a lot of fun and I know a few of us are planning on attending.
I am back at work after a pretty good weekend. I got to spend all day Saturday with David. We tried the new bd's Mongolian Grill in Rockford (it is OK, but we like Flat Top better....), went to Wal-Mar****ched "A Huaunting in Connecticut" then he got a driving lesson driving home 45 miles on highway 20 in the slush/ice/snow/ick. At one point as he started sliding towards the ditch, I though he was going to have to clean hi pants out. I don't normally do that kind of Driver's Ed, but hopefully, that was the last chance that he would get to try that kind of driving before he gets his license in May.
Today is the last day that my boss will be gone, so tomorrow, I go back to my shortened hours. The money stinks, but the time with the kids is awesome!
We have another roofer coming tonight for another bid.....wish us luck! So far, all bids are WAY more than we were counting on.
Monica should be in Vegas by now, I'm sure she is having a great time and enjoying the weather and time with her mom.

I was going to go to the oh event but I will be still in Denver till June 16th.
Im comming May 7th to the 14th then going to Denver till June 16th then back to Chicago till July 12th. Then Im flying at the end of July to see my nephew who will be 2.
So it will be a lot of driving and putting millage on the new car!!!!!

Good Morning,
I hope everyone is well. My Spring Break is over and I am back at work. It didn't seem long enough. Saturday, we went to Janesville, WI and hung out with my DD and her family. We had a good time. My DD, DGD and I did some karaoke. (again) My DD made me try Guitar Hero. Because of me, we got pelted with stuff from the audience a few times. My DD found a song for me I could actually play along with successfully. We left in time to drive through sleet and rain.
Yesterday, we stopped at Wal-Mart and Aldi. I got a new swim suit and a new pair of pants. I have been trying really hard not to buy too much in the way of new clothes. I am still weeding through my old clothes to remove the ones that are too big. Soon, I really need to get them to Goodwill.
Not much else happening. I am trying to go more low-carb. We will see how that will work. I should track on Fit Day again, but hate trying to figure out how much of what I have when I cook something myself and didn't measure all the ingredients. (like I made a mixture of cooked lean ground beef, a bit of onion, some marinara sauce, and LF ricotta cheese, topped off with some FF mozzarella. I layered the componets and baked it) I think it will give me a lasagna taste without the pasta. I didn't measure anything, so who knows.
