B1 Thiamin

I got my blood work results back today and there was a note telling me to up my  B1- Thiamin, because it was low. The nurse wrote saying she put in a paper telling me what to eat to get more of B-1 in my diet but there was only papers telling about what it does to your body if you don't get enough.  I was looking to see how much is Enough ?
Has anyone had this before and did you just go and get a vitamin B1 to take and was it 100mg or 500 mg pills?  Thanks Robbie

My Doctor just called back and told me he wants me to go and have a shot of B1 for the next 4 weeks to get my lever back to where it should be and still take a pill.  A dificiency might affect all of the organs , but the heart and nervous system are the most sensitive to thiamine deficiency. 
 

Hi Robbie, I take B1 Vitamins I get them at Walmart 500 mg and cut in half, my last blood test at 6 months it was too high, then I was taking the whole pill, Now I don't know how the 1/2 pill is working as I have not had blood test yet, but will  know the 23th that is when my 18 month check up is,

I have lost about 125 lbs so far. I feel great,  so i will go in at 11.oo am to get the shot. I saw there is 100 mg and 500 mg pills but didn't know what one to get so i will ask today.
