Good Morning Paul & all of IL -

It feels chilly but the birds are chirping a lovely tune.  I'm really hoping they are wrong with the prediction of snow.  Calvin and I will be heading to Indy tomorrow morning to pick up Madison for the week.  She is off on spring break.  I can't wait to see her and of course her sweet baby sister.  Man they grow up too fast.

Not too much going on today.. Cleaning the house.  Need to stop in around two and talk to my boss at Outback about my schedule and then I'm working at five.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!

Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois!

I am SO happy to see you Paul!  Please check in just to let us know that you are still here and thinking of us.  I am envious of your new life and getting to spend so much time with your kids!  These days fly by and you can never get them back so soak up every minute like I know you are doing.

I am up early today after seeing Todd off to his "Wilderness First Aid: training class.  He has to go today and next Saturday to learn to handle anything that may arise out in the wilderness with the Scouts.  I am very proud of him for taking on this responsibility.

Liv is at a friend's house so it will just be a Mom & David day.  We are thinking of lunch and a movie this afternoon along with picking up a few things from the grocery store while in town.

It looks like we here in Rock City have an 80% chance of 3-5 inches of snow.  I meant to take pictures of my yard yesterday in the bright sunshine so that I can take more if it really snows.  Then, I am going to send them to my friends and family in Florida , New Orleans and Texas to remind them how lucky they are.  End of MARCH for goodness' sake!  I can still get some shots today, but it is not bright and sunny and it won't have the same effect.

I am thinking of Monica and her exciting trip to Vegas.  I sure hope she has a great time.

Everyone have a magnificent day and tell someone that you love them!

Good morning Paul and Illinois!

Nice to see your life is turning around Paul...I'm happy that you enjoy being home with your children and that you are so engrossed in your new career. How exciting for you!

It's a cold and chilly day out there today. Finished my spring cleaning yesterday...I am so glad. Now I get a short break before heading to WV and helping my son and daughter in law clean up and set up their new home. It is in need of a lot of TLC, but has great potential of being a beautiful home. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Off to lunch today with Jackie and Erin. I'm so looking forward to that. No other plans for the week-end as of yet.

Have a great week-end everyone!
Carol

They are calling for 4 to 6 inch's of snow here by tomorrow morning  but looks like next week will be warmer so it wont stick around long,
Well I am going to get off now and get something to eat.
Anyone that has to go out in the white stuff drive careful and stay safe,
Hugs to all,

Good Afternoon Paul and Illinois Friends!

I am late checking in.  Sure am glad to see you Paul!

I can relate to your comment about the blessings of the advantages of being laid off.  When I was out of work for a year, I really enjoyed an extended "vacation" and doing a lot of things that I was not able to do when I worked.  It refreshed and reenergized me so that when I went back to work, I was ready!  After 35 years of continual working I was ready for the break.

I slept in this morning after playing too long on the computer too long last night.  Darn facebook!  When I got up, I had to go get my labs drawn for my one year check up on April 9th.  It has been a year already????   I cant't believe it!

I am back home, back into my warm room and lazing around.  No special plans for today.  I've read the papers and am now on the computer to catch up there.  Not looking forward to the weather slated to come tonight.  Oh well, cant do much about it.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!
