Wednesday Roll Call

 Good Morning everyone!

I hope you are all well.  It is hard to think that today marks the middle of my week's break from work.

Yesterday, I went swimming for an hour.  I also talked to my parents and we had lunch out in Berwyn.  We also drove to my parents' house in Oak Park, so my DH could look at some work around the house my dad wanted my DH to do.  The wind had subsided for a bit, so it was quite pleasant out there.  Also, we stopped at the Apple store, so I could exchange something.  On the way home, we stopped in Lisle and then headed home.  So, I got to go to a couple of extra places without extra driving (or hardly any).

Not much planned for today.  I hope to go out to Joliet and maybe to a workshop at the Kane county gov't center tonight.

I wish you all a great day.

I spoke to Crystal's hospital this morning.  Since she had lap band (according to her profile), she could get discharged quite early today.  I will head over there as soon as I am done with swimming this morning (I could be done swimming as early as 6am if I move my butt now to get things ready.

You are up early this morning!!! You also got a lot done yesterday, good for you.

On my way into work here in a while. The other girl (KD) and I need to tidy up all the left over work that is there so the tattle tale (TW) doesn't go running off to the boss. TW has been off from work for the last week + with her daughter getting married. KD and I have screwed around a little but we also know when to knuckle down and work. There also has been a whole bunch of arrests to deal with and they are time consuming.

After I get off of work Dave and I are going to Best Buy to get another San card for the Garmin. The one we bought on Sunday will not hold all the music that I want to download. After that we are going to buy a new lawn mower. We have a mower now but Dave has an attachment under it to pulverize the leaves in the fall. The attachment is a biotch to put on and take off. We are trying to save a whole lot of money this year by doing the lawn ourselves instead of hiring a service.

Good morning Ilse and IL friends. I bet you Crystal will be happy to be coming home today. I'm so excited for her new life. She has so much to look forward to - so many positive changes in her life.

Kudos on swimming for an hour!  I don't think I would be able to do that one right now.

I am keeping up with my journaling. It sure does open my eyes as to what I am putting in my mouth. I am making a conscious effort and hope it will show. No further problems with nausea, pain or diarrhea. Thank goodness.

Hope Crystal will be on the mend soon and Christina will continue to heal after her foot surgery.

Hugs to all!
Lucy

Good Morning Ilse and Illinois Friends!

My we have some early risers this morning.  I hit the snooze button a couple of times as I am really tired this morning.  Meant to go to bed early last night but fell asleep at my computer.  That does not make for restful sleep.  lol.

It is hump day!  Yeah!  We have a book fair at work today so that is alway fun to find new things.  They always have cute kid stuff and I have 2 spring birthdays for the little ones in my family;.    Plus they love books!

Hopefully we are done being drowned by rain.  It really poured here yesterday.

Christina, I hope you got good news about your foot at the doctors visit.  Crystal, I hope you are home soon with little pain and are ready for an amazing journey!  For the new post ops, you are doing great! Keep up the fantastic job!

For our people job seeking, I hope you all land the perfect jobs soon.

Have a fantastic day!

Good Morning IL

I woke up with a headache again this morning, I think it's my sinuses though.  I am still battling this cold and it stinks.  I also woke up with a HUGE cold sore on my bottom lip.  I just can't win right now.  I am leaving Sunday for my mom's to go to Vegas with her next week and I want everything to be gone/done by then!  lol

Today I am going for all my bloodwork and then back home to do some things around the house and do some homework, then it's off to pick up Tyler (he has to stay after to make up some tests he missed last week) and then to the middle school for their play!  I am a helper so I need to be there early.  Jacob is working the lights for it.  I am excited to see how it is, they are doing School House Rock!

Other than that, which is enough, nothing going on.
Have a wonderful, warm, safe and dry day today my friends!

Monica

Good Morning Ilse and Everyone.

Yesterday, the Kane Center finally called me back with the results of the upper GI they did Friday. There doesn't seem to be a band problem.  So then, why does almost everything come up?

This morning before I head for work, I am seeing my PCP. I have a number of cysts starting on my back, and while they aren't painful, they do itch. I want to see what can be done for them. BTW, they are in a spot that you can't reach. I also need to ask her for a knee xray. My right knee keeps going ut, and I am getting worried I could fall.

It looks like it will be a nice, but cooler day. Yesterday was the pits.
Dark gloomy days are not what I want.

Stay warm and safe today

Huggers,

Lisa
