Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

I am thinking of Crystal today and hoping that the wait is bearable.  She will soon be on the losing side of this journey!

Not much exciting for me today.  Same ol', same ol'.

I have been SO tired lately.  I'm not sure what is up.  I guess I should have my blood checked.  Last night, I fell asleep on the couch at about 7:30, got up at 8:15, did my protein and vitamins and was back to sleep by 9:15.  I had a hard time getting up today too.  Maybe it is the weather.....I am hoping that I am not coming down with something as was suggested last week.

It is very dark and dreary outside here today, a good day to curl up with a book and take a nap.

Thinking of you all!

Have a nice day and tell someone that you love them!

Dawn, I am not sure whatis going on with a lot of us but I am there with you on the feeling tired. One day I am on top of the world at about 10-11am and then I am down for a couple of days and need to sleep like crazy. Yesterday was just like that as I came home from work and slept in my chair for a couple of hours and then watch Jon and Kate, then slept again until morning. Today I was awake until about 1pm then dragging. I know my viits with my bloodwork are up there, so go figure.

Crystal!!!!   Yippie - the day is finally here.  I will be thinking/praying for you all day!!!

I have to go out and ask for donations today. My agency is sponsoring The Vagina Monologues and we are doing a raffle too.  I wi**** wasn't raining so I didn't have to worry about that walking from place to place.  I personally and knitting a giant 'womb' pillow that will look like a cartoon uterus with fallopian tubes, believe it or not, I found a pattern for it!!!

Stay dry!

Hello Christine and the rest of Illinois-

Well this day looks dreary again!  It just started to drizzle here!

Day 2 of spring break for the kids and I have to take my 5 year old for her kindergarten physical.....shots, shots and more shots!  Not going to be fun!

Today also marks my 3 weeks out from surgery!  I am very excited!  Things seem to be progressing well!  I am about 27 pounds lost!  I am very happy with that!

Soon Crystal will know what this is like as well!  I am very excited for her and thinking of her today!

keep dry everyone!

Jen

Good Afternoon IL!

I have been to the Dr for my one year check up this morning already and he said that I am doing great.  He also told me that it's a good idea that I don't have a "set number" I want the scale at, but rather stick where I feel comfortable at.  I have to get my labs drawn tomorrow and then I'm supposed to call them in about a week to get results.  I will be in Vegas then, but we'll see, I can always call from my cell phone I guess.

I am thinking about Crystal today as she should be in surgery right now, or very darn close to it!  I'm so excited for her!  She and I will have the same anniversary date, only a year apart!

Well I have to work on some homework, after I make a phone call to the mail order pharmacy that we use and give them a peice of my mind (not that I can spare any), then after Jacob is done with drama practice we'll be heading over to our breeder's house to get new pics of her puppies for her.

Stay warm, dry and safe today!!

Monica

Dave has his labs drawn before he goes in to see Dr Rantis so they can go over the results at the apt. Have you considered that? Dave gets the sheet of paper with the script before and we keep it taped in the bill cabinet so when he is about to go in for his apt he has it the labs done first.

Hi Chris. I do the same with Dr. Guske as I like to have my results at my yearly visit. I have the same plan this year!

Great minds think alike!

I usually do that but when I made the appt for this visit, I asked the girl if they could send me the paperwork for labs so I could get them done before and she told me no, they will draw them there.  Well I tried to tell her that I need to go to Quest for insurance reasons and she said that I would have to get the paperwork when I came in then.  It's annoying because I want to make sure that everything is good and was hoping to get results before vacation...but some of them take a week so I will have to deal with it I guess.

When Dave is just about to walk out the door after he makes the next years apt. he gets the script from the girl right then. Would that work?
