Lucy, with what you had is that similar to having diverticulitis? I had that one time and was in such pain. I never had the runs and throw ups.

Hi Chris. I don't think it was diverticulitis.

It was one mean and painful day. I felt like someone punched me in the stomach and intestines.

I am back to normal today and it feels so good!!!

Good morning.

Not much to report on down my way.  Storms rolling in, and wind advisory.

More job hunting for me.  Still haven't heard from the other place I interviewed at.

I am really tired and could do with going back to bed, but I won't.

Hope eveyone has a great day!

Good Morning all,

This is suppose to be a beautiful day, NOT!!!! It looks like the heavens are just going to open wide and dump. At least its to get a bit warmer today.

Running late, had an issue last night, and couldn't get to sleep. Then woke up and had to make a dash to the bathroom. It seems all better this morning, of course, I haven't eaten anything yet.

I hope everyone has a great day. We know Crystal will as she joins us on the losers bench.

Stay warm and dry, stay safe.

Huggers

Lisa

Hi everyone

I just wanted to let everyone know that my surgery is at 1:45 today at Silver Cross hospital.  Some people have asked about visiting.  I would love and welcome any visitors.  I would wait to come till the evening after 5.  I'm not sure how long I will be in recovery before I'm brought to my room.  Thanks for all you well wishes.  You guys are the best.  I will have my friend post something much later today.  Of course if I have visitors they will be able to let you know how I'm doing too.

Well I just have to wait around, this will be the longest day.

Hi everyone,

It has been a while since I checked in but I will try to keep it short. My wife and I have completed testing with the Psychologist , Cardiologist and Pumnologist. I personally need to have a sleep study done on April 3, but my wife came through with flying colors. The Cardiologist also recommended that I have blood work done (waiting on results) again to make sure that nothing had changed since my last blood profile. They always looked shocked when I tell that I don't have high blood pressure and or High cholesterol and they always give me that look like , " He has to be lying".  In any event, I am crossing my fingers that the results come out okay and I am now just worried about the sleep study. My wife states that I snore pretty bad and that combined with the fact that I am usually pretty tired during the day makes me think that I may have Sleep Apnea. The funny part is that I always wrote off being so tired due to the fact that I was a 400lbs guy carrying around way too much weight. We are now officially on the second month of supervised dieting and I can't wait to get through the 6 months.

Crystal,

Good luck on your surgery today, and my wife and I look forward to reading your post about your experience since we are both going to have our surgeries at that hospital. Thanks again for taking the time to journal your experience.

Good morning Illinois!

It is playtime for Bella and she doesn't like that I'm on the computer. Toilet training is going fairly well. She now goes to the door when she needs to go out. No accidents in over 10 days....woohoo...she is growing up....

Crystal....keeping you in my thoughts and prayers today. All will go well, you are in great hands. Once again here's to a speedy recovery.

Hope you all enjoy the day!

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
