Good Morning Christine and Illinois friends!

My thoughts are with Crystal on this exciting day!  I can remember how excited I was on my day and I wish her the best!  Crystal, good vibes are being sent your way!

Today I am struggling to get awake.  I got my schedule out of whack yesterday and went to bed too late.  The blizzard out west, closed our call center in Wyoming and so many of us had to work later to fill in for them.  So I got home later after more hours put in than usual and was tired but wound up.  I hat that.  Did not eat dinner until 8:30 so definitely was not ready for bed very early.

Hopefully things are back to normal today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I hate when something like that comes up and I have to stay also. That happened to me on Friday of all days just when I want to start my weekend.

Hope the rest of your week is better.

I agree.  We can have blizzard conditions and they tell us to stay off the roads, but our center has yet to close even when community colleges, schools and businesses are all closed.

Good Morning Chris & Nancy -

Keep your fingers crossed....  I have an appointment late this afternoon with my foot surgeon.  I'm hoping I get this cast off my foot.
One of my girls has an ear infection.    She was miserable all night which of course kept me up too.  I feel so bad.  She gets them quite often so I did have some medicine I started her on.

I'll be job searching again today.  I need to brain storm some marketing ideas for a local pizza shop.  I'm going to help them out with some marketing in my down time.

Other then that, just sipping on my java and listening to the birds singing.  I trust this will be a beautiful day.  If anyone has any suggestions for "things to do" while the OH folks are in town, you may want to post to Kim and let her know.  They will be here for a few more days and were looking for suggestions.

Prayers going out to Crystal.

Have a blessed day everyone!
Christina

How did the apt. with the surgeon go? I will get into the messages and contact Kim (OH Staff) and see if I can help with tourist things.

Just returned from surgeon.. silly me.  Took my tennis shoe thinking I was just going to slip it on and sprint right out of there.  Well, I did get the cast off but I have to wear a brace and big black boot for two more weeks.  I'm bummed about that but it is healing good.  He did remind me that w/out the cast it's going to swell more and be sore.  I'm getting there.  We are much further along in the process then when I had the right foot done.

Thanks for asking.

Hi Christina. I'm happy to hear that you have the cast off. I guess with the cast off, you'll need to rest up more often to aid in reducing the swelling. I bet you'll heal in no time.

Just think that once you heal from this surgery, your feet will be ready for action!

Take care my dear friend. And, thanks for your message this morning. I appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning Christine and IL friends. I'm so happy for Crystal. She's been waiting for this day for so long.

I was so sick yesterday and went home early. I think it was gastroenteritis. I was nauseated and  when I got up in the morning, had a low grade fever, 100.4 F, and had diarrhea. I couldn't tolerate much in terms of liquids. I had abdominal pains everywhere. My port site hurt too.  When I got home, I  just laid around, and then went to bed and slept. The pain was awful but I didn't want to go to the ER. Today, I am much better, just a little sore.

I have so much going on at work. We've got a new computer system being implemented on Friday that involves the doctors plus a huge Credentialing meeting on Thursday.

Journaling was going well until yesterday. I have to catch up with that.

Wishing you and everyone a wonderful Tuesday.

Hugs,
Lucy
