Monday Roll Call
Good morning!
It's back to work for me today after a Sunday of laundry and unpacking and putting away summer clothes, but not too far away because it will be summer sooner than we can believe. Our sleeping schedules are way off with the five hour time difference, but hopefully that will resolve soon.
Kay put together the scrapbook with all the pictures from Tahiti last night. It usually takes us six months to gather the pix but thanks to computers the book is done. Of course we didn't print every last picture, just enough to get a flavor of the islands. It is an amazingly beautiful place. I'm so glad we went!
Have a great day!

Good morning Illinois!
Crystal-tomorrow is your big day! It will be here and over before you know it. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Not much on the agenda today. I plan to tackle the master bedroom and bathroom. Then it will be on to the laundryroom. That room needs to be painted too. Then I'll only have three more rooms to do.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!
I worked outside at my Mom's on Saturday and did some outside knitting in the sun, which I love!
I made the 'Whiskey Thighs' recipe that was the ROD the other day for our 'Sunday Dinner' - my family and 2 others get together at one house and that family cooks dinner for everyone. Yesterday was our turn and we did the Thighs on the grill - they were so good, everyone asked for the recipe. I had one ready for lunch today and forgot it! I am so mad.
Have a great day.
Crystal - you will be in my prayers tonight...((((hugs)))). We will all be here for you when you need us!!!

Easter must be around the corner since my text colors keep changing. I will be loading C# on the .net platform today. I am making another pass at learning to use the .net platform. I have papers and contacts to sort and decide howto keep up with from the meeting at Harper on Friday. Saturday was a good day at Computer Connections. Oak Hills online and Willow in the non-virtual world yesterday. I should also sort out files to collect data together for April 15. First though a bit of Face and e-mail.
Good morning Nancy and the rest fo Illinois!
I FINALLY watched the whole movie (The King and I). I will be taking it back to the library today and paying my 3 day "extended usage fee". It is interesting to see what different screenwriters thought was important to include from the book into their movie. The two movies we watched follow the same bery basic plot, but chose very different endings and to include very different things. Liv is learning a lot and I am glad that we decided to take on this project (even though the book is very hard reading.....)
We had a nice weekend but no yard work was done, it is still too wet. We got one of our roof estimates on Saturday and it was half again as much as we had budgeted. I certainly hope they don't ALL com e in that high or we may be in trouble.
Liv is here with me this morning and I will be taking her in for her shift at the museum shortly. David did not get up in time to come with us, but Todd took David in with him.
I am very excited for Crystal----tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life and I am wishing you an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery.
WELCOME HOME Connie & Kay!
Natalie--I was going to make the Whiskey thighs over the weekend but it turned out that I didn't have any whiskey in the house. I am glad to hear that you company liked them. I wound up marinading my chicken in a bunch of other stuff just thrown together. I hope it works out. I was planning on grilling them tonight, but I might get rained out and have to do them indoors.
Congratulations to Jacob (and Monica) for a job well done at the dog show.
Carol---want to come and Spring Clean our house?
Christina---you are just a beautiful person. Hopefully, things will look up for you soon. At least you have this "day" time to rest your foot after working in the evenings.
I wish everyone a splendid day to stay safe and warm.

You are too kind Dawn. Things will work out the way they are supposed to. I just hope this cast comes off before the end of the month. My insurance ends at the of the month
I know everyone has been impacted by the economy.. It all arounds stinks for everyone.
I would think you should be able to get a decent quote on a new roof consider the construction industry has also been hit hard. I would think they are hard up for work. I'm sending prayers your way.
Hugs,
Christina
