Saturday Roll Call

Good morning all. Well, I woke up early anyways. This should be fun later on today when I am trying to stay awake at the wedding. I have always been the early Oh, a blue bird, my favorite color.

The leaves are just about done and picked up. A good portion of our leaves fell after there was snow on the ground. We have four huge old old trees in the back plus my neighbor had the same situation with their silver leaf maple in their yard.

We have the wedding later in Darien/Burr Ridge and we are staying overnight. The hotel has a shuttle from the country club so no one has to drive. Perfect. I just need to go out a little later and pick up a card, panty hose and lawn bags. I might stop at Famous Footwear and see if there is another pair of shoes that will go with my dress.

Good Morning Christine and  all the late sleepers on the first full day of spring.

Our garden area is still to wet to do anything with. The DH wants to mix a bit of sand and peat into the soil, as well as the leaves, before he tills it up,

I seen Dr. G yesterday. Told him my concerns about not keeping anything down. And, not losing any weight. He sent me for an upper GI, to see if anything has happened to the band. I will call Monday to get the results and get the next appointment. He also told me to rat no more then 800 to a 1000 calories a day. And, to continue jouraling.

Today is get ready for the family Birthday dinner for DH, He turned 64 today.Both girls and thier families will be here at about noon. I also have a few errands to run this morning.

 Good Morning Fellow Early Birds and Illinois Friends!

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to be up at this hour on a Saturday and I get here and 2 people have already posted.  I have been up for an hour already  I have a class to teach and am eating breakfast then must scoot to get ready for class. 

Yesterday we were slow at work so I took the afternoon of***** my grocery shopping and other errands run so I will have more free time this weekend.

I took 1/2 a sick day yesterday and went to see my cousin who lives near Rockford.  I brought three swimsuits for her sister.  We did some karaoke with some ABBA music.  It was my first time singing that way.  I drove the scenic route to and from there.  It took longer, but seemed less frantic.

Today, I have an appointment to see someone at the Apple store, to find out why I can't hear sound on all my applications.  No other plans.

Chris, Dr R seemed pretty miserable with his cold.  He didn't linger long.

Morning to you. Hope you resolve the issue with sound on your applications. I am going to guess that it is with your computer?

 

 The problem was with my phone, but wasn't really a problem.  Somehow the silence button had been activated so I wasn't hearing any sound.  Maybe when I was cleaning it.  Since I don't use the silence button, I forgot it was there.   I was able to exchange something else there, so it was okay to go there.  I also got an extended warranty on my computer, so I don't have to worry about it for a 2 1/2 more years.  We stopped at Sam's Club (to get more EAS protein drinks) and at Aldi.
