Looking for Rockford Area Support Group

Got my paperwork from Dr. Oliphant and he requires me to attend 3 meetings before I can schedule consult. I need to find one near me. I am in Davis Junction, Illinois.

Looking for a Rockford, Byron, or Belvidere area.

There is a group that meets once a month in Rockford. I think they met on the 16th. Birder always posts the date on this forum. That's the only one I am aware in the areas you mentioned. There used to be one that met twice a month in DeKalb but it disbanded the week I had my surgery.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

Yes, there is a support meeting in Rockford, on the 3rd monday of each month at the University of Illinois College of Medicine on Parkview.  Its a great bunch of people to meet.  Very supportive and knowledgeable and fun.

I moved back home (Rockford) about a year ago. I had my surgery 4 years ago in MN and need to get back on track. I think attending meetings again would be a great way for me to get back in touch.
