Thursday Roll Call
Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!
I am on the "do not like Peeps" side of this fence. I never liked them--way too sweet. My family likes to toast them over the campfires though. If you do that, you have to be VERY careful to let them cool before you touch them. Hot melted sugar can BURN-----just ask David. I like a little chocolate occasionally and dark seems better these days. I USED to LOVE a Baby Ruth bar, but that would be too sweet for me now.
The corned beef and cabbage was enjoyed by all yesterday, so it is reubens today. I will make the sandwiches for the guys and the casserole for me. Tonight, I am going to make the "stoup" to have for lunch tomorrow.
I did not get to the school to work out last night. I was almost falling asleep at my desk yesterday afternoon, and on the way home too. I went straight home and to bed. I slept almost 2 HOURS!!!! I got up, made dinner (steak on the grill) then cleaned up the kitchen and was back to bed by 9:30, sleeping by a little after 10. Not sure what is up with that.
I am going to try to get over there tonight, but if I don't, I can ride my new bike at home. I should also log into The Daily Plate and check my intake.
Tonight, Liv and I will be watching "The King and I" (with Yul Brenner). Then, we just have to finish our books and our research will be complete.
Our yard is still way too wet and muddy to get anything done, but I'm sure it will dry eventually.
Everyone have a splendid day and tell someone that you love them.
When you are done in your yard will you come here? Bring your boots with plastic bags on the inside if they leak like mine do. I am not sure what is up with this soggy ground this year. I just got in from raking (blisters and starting blisters and yes I had gloves on) but my yard is a mess. The blisters I am sure are from what I was raking was so wet and heavy. Your back yard is about 1/4 of just my immediate yard behind the house. We have a wide house, our lot is 65 feet wide and then 292 feet front to back. We have a second lot behind the house that equals the footprint of the front lot including where the house is at.
Hope you are not coming down with something. When I take naps after work it usually means that I am right around the corner from coming down with something.

Busy day today...I have 2 Kindergarten classes, 2 first grade, and 2 second grade. Then in the afternoon I have 1 eighth grade...lot of talking today. I hope my throat can take it.
Have a great day!

I wrote on face book first, and then came here. I am very nervous today, I have an interview for a job at 3. Wish me luck.
Peeps....ewwwwwwwww, give me chocolate anytime, or almond joys. Gee, no wonder I needed surgery...lol
I have the same thing Monica has. I have had it for a while. A gal at the grocery store said she has had it for a month. Wow, something to look forward too. I am on antibiotics, but they aren't seeming to help.
I was thinking about cutting my hair short, but my hair grows so long on my neck, I have to end up shaving my neck everyday or every other day. Who knows, but I am letting the color grow out.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Dee
I still don't feel great, but for some reason didn't cough once during my interview..lol Even though it was only in the 50's here and they had the air on, I am sure that didn't help me. After I was through I am sure my lips was blue.
I AM STILL WAITING FOR APPROVAL FROM INSURANCE FOR MY RNY..WI**** WOULD HURRY AND COME THROUGH......ANY THOUGHTS ON HOW TO PREPARE FOR IT? IT'S AWFUL WITH THE BAND EMPTY I FEEL LIKE I COULD EAT A HOUSE SO EVERY DAY IS TRYING FOR ME.
ENJOY THIS SUNNY DAY!!!!!
